Hi SHTL,
You sound very negative, and desperate. Remember, a lot in life depends on one's perspective, and as Revrirbhav has correctly pointed out, if optimism doesn't come easily to you, keep practicing it. Some people need to train themselves to look at life "glass half full", not half empty. Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone.
Think of life as having 3 to 4 stages, which is really true actually, and at each stage you need certain 'escape velocity' to get to the next stage. Going to elementary school is just the first stage. From school to college isn't easy - increased hard work, more difficult tests to pass and lots of peer pressure. Same when stepping out into the world after college - getting a job, settling down in marriage, moving to foreign countries, etc. At each stage the hurdles would be different and each person would approach the bar differently.
Learn to set at least some goal posts in life, if not absolute ones then at least age-wise of where you wanna get when you reach 30, 40, 50 etc. It just helps keep some balance - not everyone will finish first, in fact not everyone will even finish, and some may drop out or be forced to quit way early. Make sure you're not one of them.
Good luck!
