So how's it going folks? Been a bit better off late I think. Though certainly not much. The transits of Mars (Opposition with Saturn) that are coming up may turn things around a bit and not for better I feel, let's hope not.

Same here, I feel things have been less stressful and calmer since mid-April. The Saturn-Mars opposition is in Scorpio-Taurus therefore don't think it will affect Libra much, or let's hope it doesn't.

I am libra rasi and libra lagna, I am running saturn mahadasha, I hope this combination can explain you all what i am undergoing these days

I was running ketu - AD in sani - MD till march 2015 i had to visited all type of doctors for problems, job s frustrating i was superseded for promotion, the company might push me out anytime. I am eagerly awaiting jup transit in july to save me. But they gave similar hope when jupiter was in 9 th house i was told it will be a bliss but nothing good happened.

Looking back things have slightly improved further but they're more like a rollercoaster ride.

I'm worried about Sun's proximity to Rahu in transit right now and next year since Sun is in Leo in natal with natal Jupiter and Mercury. This hints something at career and academics but I don't know what exactly
Placements season approaching in college and I want to be back in IT industry. But all we get our finance jobs and I don't understand finance much

I am tula rashi too and running a shani mahadasha. I was so relieved when Saturn exited libra last November 2014. Things have been better but new challenges and delays have come. I believe things will be much better when Saturn exits Scorpio. I do feel however that this transits are not necessarily bad. Saturn delays things so we can learn the necessary lessons. Even though many things have been delayed and I experienced so many negative events, I feel that Saturn is making me wiser and wiser. For that, I am thankful! One astrologer I know called this 7.5 years of Saturn's transit in the 12th, 1st and 2nd from the Moon the 40 years of dessert cycle because 7.5 years seems like 40 years of hardship. On the other hand, I felt like the lessons I have learned this past 6 years is comparable to a century worth of lessons. Still, I am looking forward to times when this is all over and I can see the sun ahead!

True, one would expect Sun antardasha and Jupiter's transit would've given you some positive result on the job front.

However other factors seem to have overridden that....
1) You are in third phase of sadesati, with Saturn in transit aspecting your 10th house from the Lagna. This would definitely cause delays and obstacles to matters relating to 10th house.
2) Mahadasha is also of Saturn. It is said that if Sadesati coincides with mahadasha or antardasha of Saturn then the delays and obstacles are intensified.

Therefore please be patient. And keep doing good karma as Saturn delivers the results of our karma during sadesati.

Hi all -

Completely agree with #2, but not sure about Saturn delivering good results.... and also agree with what Explorings-ji mentioned on page 1 of this thread. The transits don't seem to have the same effect (+ve or -ve) on everyone, and lot depends on the natal chart, configurations therein, and if the prevalent MD/AD is good.

Sade-sati in particular seems to have more negative effects - you'll find lot of statistical evidence to support this, even though many (optimistic) astrologers will praise Saturn endlessly.

For e.g. , the Jupiter transit to Leo in July 2015 was not at all beneficial to many Leo and Cancer natives. Reason being that Saturn was already posited in Scorpio, casting a harsh 10th aspect on the Lagna and 2H, thereby subduing Jupiter. Also, in Leo he is called as "Singhasta Guru", something of a blemish as it doesn't allow Jupiter to bestow any positive results. I know this is off-topic for this thread but just wanted to mention.

Any Leo or Cancer folks reading this can confirm (or deny), per their experiences of Jupiter in Leo since July last year. Rahu , I believe, will only add fuel to this inferno, and reduce any positive significations even further unless there's a lot of good yogas in Leo. See Shilpa-ji's writeup on Rahu/Jup in leo.

Will just wait...when we have gone thru 6+ years..another 1 year too!! With Shani MD also..we have to go thru our times of learning and being patient. Just want to see if this strong Sun AD brings in something along with Rahu also in 11th house for us. With so much delays and haywire things I dont even feel like looking for something now.

Hi Milkyway 2013 -

I was referring to point # 2 in the prior post . I do agree though that sade-sati during Saturn MD/AD adds to the delays, stresses, failures and so on.

In your chart, the 8L Mercury is conjunct 10L Sun in 10H. Whenever 8L and 10L combine or have an aspect, it is a clear indication of obstructions and delays in career, according to Dr. Neeraj. You'll find this in many charts and those people usually have many ups and downs, even if they're free-lancers like for example, the film industry or the music business, where there's no steady paycheck (employment) but its a contract and release/title/album based.

You may want to check with others on your 8L-10L combo placement....hope that helps.

I think thats the best strategy. Patience and perseverance wins in the end, waiting for stuff to happen doesn't work.

Some of the posters here are really fatalistic - they think they have a great future just because there's a bunch of fancy yogas in their charts. In reality, it never pans out, and years later, these guys are still wondering why!!

I've always believed that time discharges all debts, time heals all wounds and time resolves all issues. We don't have an infinite amount of it, yet there is no formal examination at the end of our life, whether we finished all problems given to us in the allotted time or if we solved them correctly.

Life's short, too short for some. Live it up a little, make the most of one's time on earth.

I am also Tula Rashi and Scorpio Lagna and like Milky way I also have Sun in 10th house (in the sign of Leo) along with Jupiter.

Currently have sade sati since sept 2009 and 2013-2014 was really horrible esp with Shani MD and Sade Sati complete roller coaster ride. it was complete havoc.

Currently in 3rd phase of sade sati , still its not going good.
