Few questions, trying to understand more.

I've been trying to understand more and more about astrology, but there are a few questions I have :

In my very close friend's chart (29th November 1987, 23:02, Mumbai, Female), a very good period for marriage is on right now, and her family is also looking. She has been seeing a guy since 5 years (25th September, 1987, 22:30, Mumbai) who is from a different caste. The families are against it. The girl has always had a very problematic family atmosphere - I assume because of placement of Mars in 4th house, and Sun (lord of 2nd in 5th with Saturn, as well as Saturn aspecting the 2nd house). Her parents have created issues for her in everything, including her choice of friends and are also forcing her into marriage, giving the reason that Saturn is bound to give her problems in love! Also she has had isssues with friends (she has almost no friend), her health (she has had many surgeries due to health reason), career (has changed her career twice), and even with extended family (separations). So essentially, there hasn't been one area in life where she is happy. Otherwise she is a very fun-loving person... so I am confused, if her Jupiter is in such a good position, and is exalted in this period, why should she continue to have so many issues. Saturn in Significator of 7th house, and is placed in 5th with Sun, aspecting 7th. Is this drishti of Saturn on its own house detrimental?

She has asked me if going abroad and delaying her marriage further could prove beneficial, but it is a risky situation according to me. Going abroad should be good for her, according to her stars, but whenever she has tried to (for career/further study), there has been some hurdle.

I agree she isn't running a favourable Mahadasha, but shouldn't her Jupiter lift her up during this time? Is the effect of Rahu (running in Virgo) causing her continued trouble?

Or should I be following the Bhava Chalit for her case?

Did she have any ailment during the second week of june, 2012 ? .. this is for my understanding of the chart.

No, nothing specific during June 2012. But she has had health issues throughout. Her last surgery was in 2010, but that was a corrective surgery. She has always been under medical treatment, for something or the other - cosmetic (skin, hair etc) or some stomach issues. I think she was addicted to treatments. I've read that is effect of Venus in 6th. She was also quite vain.

1. Did the operation go through during the last two weeks of Jan-2010 ( you told it was in 2010) ?
2. Or in the month of feb-2010..
