There are some info on almost all of the major mahadasha except Moon. If anyone going through Moon MD or have been through Moon MD please share. It will benefit all. Share your experiences and remedies if performed during this period.

Moon Dasa may bring Good as well as bad to the mother depending up on the situation and placement

2nd question.:- There is no rule like that. waxing and waning of Moon has nothing to do with Moon Dasa.

meghraj, considering moon is in close conjunction with ketu , it could be tight situation. One very positive factor is moon is in own house in navamsa. Better you do appropriate remedies for moon consulting your local priest of Lord Shiva Temple.

The Position of Moon in Navamsa will increase the strength and it will help in Maha Dasha . But due to moons poor position in rasi chart it will be difficult. So, proper remedies to be done.

Look at the Ashtak of the sign where the Moon is placed.
If 3 or below: unfavorable MD
If 4 and above: favorable MD
Then look in which sign the AD planet is located in Natal chart.
Look at the Ashtak of that sign in Moon BAV ( Bhinna Ashtak Chart)
Say if Moon-Mars is the current Dasha, look in which sign Mars is placed in Natal chart. Say Mars is placed in Cancer.
Look at Cancer sign in the Ashtak table of Moon. If 3 or less then AD of Mars unfav and if 4 or more AD of Mars Fav.

I am currently running Moon MD with Ashtak of 3 which is unfavorable and I have experienced the same.
Ad is of Rahu situated in Taurus. So in BAV (Bhinna Ashtak) of Moon in sign Taurus I have 3 points.
So Moon-Rahu = 3-3 = both Unfavorable Dasha and hv experinenced same.

Ashtraka varga score primariliy influences the transit results.
You may go wrong if you depend that for predicting DASA results.

Moons paksha bala is not so bad.
Further Moon recieves aspect from Jup in bhava chart.
From Lagna the 4th receives aspect from Jup and Mars.
I think you need not worry much.
Yes some some ill health to mother is forseen related to Stomach and bones or may be respiratory issues.

I guess as it is 3rd house lord in 4th house so giving trouble. 3rd house (8th from 8th representing death).
Mother's health has not been well too.
My moon is waning not sure if that accounts to -ve MD.

I know someone currently going through Moon MD with debilitated moon in lagna, i.e, scorpio lagna. Sun is also in lagna. And, as we know, Saturn is currently transiting in Scorpio. As such, she is definitely having a difficult time due to her husband's health issues. Would it also mean her mother is going through a difficult time too?

Her husband is currently going through a life-threatening illness. As far as I know, her mother is fine.

She is under Moon-Sat-Rahu. The anter dasha lord Saturn is in the 8H conjunct with Ketu. 8H is 2nd from the 7H. So Marak for husband. Rahu is conjunct with Venus the 7L[Husband] and Saturn from the 8H aspecting the Venus. In D-9[ The chart of husband] Saturn is in Lagna and Rahu is afflicting the LL[Jupiter]. Lagna[Body], Moon[Thought process] and Sun[ soul] all under the influence of Saturn in transit.She is very depressed under the circumstances.

Thank you for such a clear explanation. I had not even looked at the D-9 chart, it makes a lot of sense now. She is very strong mentally and physically and very controlled in her expressions and words and also very secretive. So it is impossible to know what she is feeling or whether she is depressed.

You are absolutely correct about her nature. She really is extremely self centered and also selfish. Shows no interest in another person unless she has something to gain. This means she often comes across as rude, and shows lack of appreciation or reciprocation. Sometimes I can't believe the extent of her self-centeredness!
