well, things are happening at my end. I resigned from my job yesterday so that I could serve 3 months notice period as per company policy. Otherwise, they were planning on terminating with performance factors as excuse. This is rampant in IT these days.. Anyways, I have around 3 months to get a job. Hope I get something soon. Otherwise it is just going to add to the tension. For now I feel relieved that I am going to leave this job as it was not working out anyway for the last few years.

vedicmaths,

It was at 5 PM. Manager called me around 3:30. Till then I wasn't even thinking of resigning. After talking to him I discussed straight with my colleague who could better guide on the situation and I went straight ahead and resigned. It happened within the span of 1-2 hours but it was the right decision. Wish I had done it one or two years back. Next I have to land a job at the earliest so that there is no gap in between jobs. Incidentally, I gave an interview on 17th Jan earlier(I wasn't planning on resigning so soon then) and cleared 2 rounds. The HR, even though they called 2 times to schedule another discussion have not called back again. Now all my hopes are pinned on that job offer to materialise without much delay.

Hi tyrion,

Thanks for the info.

Vimsottari Dasa:

Merc MD: 2006-12-12 - 2023-12-12
Moon AD: 2014-01-10 - 2015-06-11
Ket PD: 2015-01-20 - 2015-02-18

In rasi chart, Mercury and moon are placed in tenth, while ketu is placed 12th to 10th, which is 9th house.
In dasamsa ( varga for profession ), ketu is placed in tenth, which can bring sudden reversals.

vedicmaths,

i have a question on ayanamsha.

Going by what you wrote earlier, I think you folow BV raman(Navamsa lagna Taurus with Moon and Ketu there). With this setting, I also see 3rd lord moon in second which seems to explain a lot off issues I have around self-assertion self-expression and being lazy, miserable etc. Thought I would not agree to all of this straight ahead, I think I coould feel 'luckier' if I were more active in my undertakings. Also 11th lord Jupiter in 12th and 12th lord Mars in 9th are negative indications.

If I try to use Lahiri(which is what the atrologers in my naive use), then it looks better with Aries lagna navamsa. However, the catch is the navamsha lagna moves within 1 minutes to Taurus. So planets in 1st,9th exchange easily become planets in 8th and 12th exchange.

Could timing be used to ascertain which ayanamsha is correct and which navamsha lagna to use. To give you info on timing -
1) Got my first job with a good company when I was in my 20's (Oct 2001).
2) Went abroad in Oct 2006 and returned in Sep 2008
3) Life rather unsettled since my abroad return. However till August 2010 I was still staying with my parents. Since 2010 I have been with 2 companies without much benefit.
4) Tense time in my current job.

Does Raman ayanamsha give any indications on the above. Request you to kindly advise.

Thanks

By God's grace I have got a job in a big company. It has been a week and it looks ok for now. One worry has gone. Now marriage is the only thing pending.
