Yes, I understand we can't change our fate, but I thought we can reduce its effect by doing certain things like wearing a certain stone, avoiding certain scenario, and worshipping certain God. I think that is when astrology can guide us for example when a forecaster tell us about rain or snow, we prepare ourselves even though we can't change the weather.

Lex, I have additional information which might help. In 2006 accident time, the same thing happened; when I was going home after food shopping and visiting the same friend, I was rear ended by two cars and was pushed into another car.

I am sorry for the delay in replying. Yesterday, I was not feeling well.
Thank you for your detail analysis, remedies, and time; I am very great full that people like your still exist who are willing to help others.
1) As per your instructions above, I have made a wish to visit Jammu Vaishnodevi temple and will seek blessings from her when I visit India.
2) I will be praying Durga sloka on Tuesdays and Fridays morning and evening as following:
