Gajakesari Yoga Effectivenss

I was told that I do have Gajakesari Yoga as moon and Jupiter are both together (in my 6th house).
Do you know if Gajakesari lasts entire life or only during certain periods?

The Gaja Kesri Yoga is more effective when Moon and Jupiter are in Kendra to each other or conjunct in a Kendra house (1,4,7 or 10 th ). It is still more powerful when the degrees between their conjunction is less than 5 degrees and no malefics are aspecting the conjunction. This Yoga gets activated during the Moon Maha Dasha and Jupiter antar dasha and Vice Versa.

What if Jupiter is retrograde? Is this yoga still effective ?

It will not last entire life. But it's results will be effective specially in the period when moon and jupiter dash-antradasha comes.

If Gajkeshari yoga (conjunction) happens in Kendra, kona, 2, 11 and in friendly signs it gives good results. The results becomes more prominent if it remains in same house and bhava.

My question maybe stupid but really I wanna know if Jupiter Transit can result in Gajakesari yoga when it is 1, 4, 7 and 10th from Moon in Kendra? Moon posited in Kendra in Lagna Chart.
