Hi Learned Members

To get the best of Jupiter or Saturn, firstly they must be well placed by sign and ruling good houses. This is the same as for every other planet.

But another rquirement is that if Jupiter or Saturn then ALSO happens to be unaspected or at the most receive only 1 or 2 aspects from other planets, they can give even better results. The less aspects they have or in combination with other planets the better.

Once all the above requirements are satsfied, Saturn can handle Dusthanas quite well, or the 10th or 11th houses, so Saturn would be VERY STRONG if placed in these houses.

Jupiter would do well in 9th, 12th and all the non-Dusthana houses.

3rd house abode welcomes Jupiter or Saturn.

Jupiter in Dharmic houses 1st, 5th and 9th do ESPECIALLY WELL once the above requirements are satisfied. Retrogade Jupiter in 10th or 2nd house is also good.

Saturn retorgade in the 8th for a Libra or Taurus Ascendant is very good once the above requirements are satisfied. In total it is aspecting the 10th and 5th from the 8th and well placed by sign AND AT THE SAME TIME from the previous 7th house, it is aspecting the 4th and the 9th. All the Yogakarakas are being hit at the correct spot.

Jupiter's goodness can be further enhanced by doing good acts. Saturn's goodness can be further enhanced by letting things take its natural course.

Best Regards

One thing to note :

If Jupiter and Saturn are not properly remedied if badly placed, the good effects of other planets CAN NEVER LAST. In Nadi Astrology they are the gatekeepers for the other planets.

This paradigm is the flip side to the coin that Jupiater and Saturn should be unaspected to get the best results (of course the conditional requirements must be satisfied as stated above).

Hi Khoo Hock,

My Sat is placed in 11th with lagna lord Mer and jup in 9th with moon, venus, mars. So as per your posted article I should be getting best results from jup and sat in jup-sat dasha which is currently running. But so far I haven't received any exceptionally good result. Do you feel that my Jup-Sat dasha will start giving my good result, if yes when

Hi Khoo, What if Jupiter and Saturn aspects each other/ or in conjunction. Is it true that if they are in conjunction, Jupiter soaks the result of Saturn and Saturn soaks the result of Jupiter?

Thanks

Well for one thing, your Jupiter and Saturn is aspected or conjuncting a handful of planets. One of the important dictums discussed in this thread which is not satisfied.
