For Khumbh Lagna , 6 th lord moon is functional malefic .

If the moon is dark , then its turn as functional benefic ?

So for khumbh lagna bright or dark moon can change the functional malefic to functional benefic ?

It is a dictum that a powerful moon
Specifically when it is half or more,that is 8th to 7th
of bright and dark half respectively is considered auspicious.

However moon rarely functions in isolated manner,therefore
its company may also make it act in banefic or malefic manner.

some one say dark moon is functional benefic and bright moon is functional malefic for khumbh lagna.

For the weakness of the moon , we consider only near amavasya ( dark ) or overall shabdabal strength,

if moon is dark but higher in shabdabal then how to consider ?
