Hi Astrologers,

I'd like to get something clarified if you'd like to guide me on the right path. I'm a newbie and I'd really appreciate it.

We see the horoscope based on planets friendship, signs and houses. I've always seen predictions being made based on the permanent friendship of planets.

Eg: Mars and Saturn are enemies.

Now, I've read that there are temporal friendship as well and eventually, the five - fold friendship table is calculated.

Shouldn't we make predictions based on the five - fold friendship table which is formed by adding both the temporal and permanent friendship rather than relying only on the natural friendship?

Thanks and Warm Regards,

Temporal friendships doesn't serve the long term interests of the native but they are still more practical than the natural relationships. For instance: Saturn and Mars together may serve you well when it comes to a technical career but its long-term effect is bad in other areas of life. Similarly, Jupiter and Mercury can give you a quality education but stumps you in other areas like family and wealth. So in the chart inimical combinations may serve you well but overtime they just become a nuisance and can cause problems for you.

In the transit chart however temporal relations serve a greater purpose as these planets do not remain in the same sign for very long to show their negative effects.

Regards
