Hello mates,

I have a query, when Venus in Cancer it denotes the native will have a spouse who is very feminine character, nurturing
basically, quality of a mother. But why Venus doesn't do well in the sign Cancer or would rather say its treat Cancer as its enemy sign?
Most of the cases when Venus in Cancer its dignity become 'Great Enemy' I've seen and experience cases
where by the native having such alignment having troubles in terms of relationship. Perhaps it should produce
a quality spouse?
So my question where here a person with Venus in Cancer should produce a quality spouse but why most
the cases its end up in trouble?

A very interesting question by you. Venus and Moon are enemies as per astrology theory, so Venus doesn't do well in Cancer, which is the sign of the Moon. I have never come across the logic as to why Venus and Moon are enemies as per astrology rules. But it is not just Venus in Cancer sign, but Venus-Moon combination in 7th house that can affect married life, too, though logically it shouldn't be, both planets being natural benefics.

Hi Orange-man,

Talking about Venus and Moon combination in 7th house. Pls look at this case, the native end up in divorce
even second marriage causing trouble. Though 7th lord is moon and venus is Yogakarka yet it causes damage.

But i'm still curious about venus in cancer which fail to perform well but said to produce goos wife??
wondering how! Hope someone could throw some input for me..

Friends, is there any difference between male and female horoscope for Mo+Ve conjunct in 7th house ? Is it beneficial in a female horoscope ?

I'm not very sure about that, but the above given birth detail is a female who actually got divorced with this conjunction.

Which book says that Venus does well in Cancer sign? It is quite surprising if it says so because Venus can’t do well in its enemy’s sign, Cancer.

Coming to Venus-Moon in 7th house or Venus-Moon in 1-7 axis, I have seen a few charts where it has caused trouble. Coming to the chart, the details of which you have posted, if you notice the 7th house of the person is not at all afflicted, with 2 natural benefics there and they lording good houses, so it shows that Venus-Moon in the 7th house is the cause of the problems in married life. The spouse of the person should be very beautiful and artistic. The native should be artistic himself and very romantic. He should be good looking, too. He should be religious as well. Did he have love marriage?

One thing is interesting, though. He got his Mercury MD and is now running Ketu MD, both of them being ill placed—Mercury in 8th house and Ketu in 12th house. So it can be that the bad dashas has been a reason he has had problems in married life both times, though I think a dasha can’t break a marriage unless the birth chart shows it, too.

The person should have a foreign connection to his career. He is maybe staying away from his home. His father will have problems. He must have had a lot of stress and problems in both the Mercury and Ketu MD.

Very interesting question. I am not sure about it, but I think effect will be same in case of both male and female horoscope.

Well, Orange-man and pridif, I had read that Venus in 7th house for a male being not good but the same makes a female a loyal and devoted wife.

That is interesting, what you have read, Parijataka. As per what I know, Venus in 7th house is not good for either of the genders as it falls under the principle of karaka bhava nasha.

Hi,
I'm an Aries lagna and have Venus in 4th house and you are absolutely right as my husband is a very good cook and can handle household chores very well and he takes care of the kids perfectly whenever I'm sick.My 7th house has no planets and Moon is situated in the 10th house.

He' s not very good looking but pleasant looking but yes he is artistic and caring.I'm very fond of music so yes may be artistic to a certain extent.

I have venus in cancer and I'm not very goodlooking either.

I have read that venus in cancer makes the native prone to showing love & kindness toward those who are unworthy. Thereby the native is taken advantage of by others. Has anyone else read this?

Venus is in Pushkaramsa in 0-3'20 degrees and 6'40 - 10 degrees. This will highly modify the results in certain charts.

Venus-Moon combination in a chart makes one good looking. Venus in Cancer I believe makes one romantic and very caring and soft natured towards their beloved.

Orange Man, that was a good analysis.

I have another chart
Which also Venus in Cancer
but Venus exalted in Navamsa in the 9th house.
The native and their family find tremendously hard time to get him married.
The natives 5th and 10th lord mars also debilitated but Saturn saves him from neech and the same time saturm and Mars has mutual aspects.
Pls closely analyze the D9 chart because his D1 chart and D9 chart show total different life patern in D9
And i find it hard time analyze for his carrier as he don't have stable job.
Please look into... i find it quite complicating.

Hi pridif , the birth details you posted seems to have another issue - Ma + Ve combination in both D1 and D9, in lagna in D1 and in 9th bhava in D9. This conjunction is supposed to make a person very sensual; apart from that in a female chart it could denote abuse from partner or in a male's chart it could mean abusing the spouse.
