Hello again,
My jupiter is within 2 degrees of the sun (in taurus, 10th house), and sun is my Lagna Lord and AtmaKarak. So my question being - Is SUN really damaging my jupiter through combustion , or is the damage less since my ascendant is LEO.

Knowingly or unknowingly you have named yourself as seer.
Sun in tenth gets digbala. It is a kendra and kona lord ( quadrant and trine ). Jupiter is a trinal lord and dustana lord.
The combo of a quadrant and trinal lord is raja yoga and this occurs in tenth house which is very good.
The Seer Sri.Chandrasekara saraswathi of kanchi kamakoti peetam ( Kanchi mutt in Tamilnadu) has much better
combination but jupiter and sun are placed just like yours with Leo lagna.
Use it for the society.

Thank you guys for letting me know all these information. I'm really enjoying this vedic science.
I am still trying to make sense of all the combinations in my chart. To be honest I have SUN, JUP, MER (in Taurus, 10th) and VEN (in Gemini, 11th) ... where the 11th/2nd lord (Gemini/Vigo) and 10th/3rd Lord (Taurus/Libra) are in Parivarthamsa.
Also Jupiter is my AmtyaKaraka planet.
So right now I'm just trying to get an understanding of all these, by breaking up the combinations into piecemeals.
So quick question - How do you predict planets in Parivarthamsa ? Does it give the same result as if it's deposited in its own house ?

Yes my 9th lord is indeed placed in 12th debilated (cancer), does that not mean loss of fortune ? Since Mars in the lord of a kendra and trikona house, and deposited in the 12th (house of loses) ... What does that mean ?
I have also seen that ... Mars in 9 houses away from the 4th and 4 Houses from the 9th ... So can we also use that to come to an conclusion.
And Since my moon in Virgo (2nd house), I think the foundation of the 12th house is shaky too ?
