accurate sun rising time

I found difference between Jhora and US astronomical department sun rising time. for my case I got 16 minutes difference. Becasue of this, i got different lagna . how can I change sun rise time in jhora software?

thanks for your reply. it won't work. i mean i can't type the sunrise time what i want. Also i tried to check the accuracy of the sunrise time in johra by changing my birth time. sunrise time changes whenever birth lagna changes.

Astrosage software shows different sunrise time & different ayanamsa. Can anybody tell me how can i calculate sunrise time from panchangam

Hello archer,

The deatils for a birth time of 15:35 and another for 16:35. The sun rise remains the same. Why should it change
with the time of birth. The sunrise is for the given day and not for the given birth time !

thank you for reply. can you tell me which software you used ? j HORA? from jhora I got Aries Asc when my birth time is 15.35, and sun rise time is 6.15.

Hello archer,

You can use Jhora. You seem to be unaware of ayanamsa factor. Since you are so born that the lagna falls
at the junction of Pisces and Aries, different ayanamsas would shift the lagna between the two. All you can
do now is not fix the lagna to your choice. Later, as you gain experience in understanding the connections
between you and the chart, you can fix your lagna.

Your ascendant ( lagna ) falling in the junction for water (pisces) and fire (aries ) may be noted with care and
see for yourself how it reacts in various circumstances.

When you use a software, go through all the menus fully and try to get the grip of it.
