Requesting members to help me with this match:

Me: DOB : 1st August 1968 , time : 4.17 pm, Place: Trichur, Kerala
Boy: Dob: 15th Dec 1973, time: 6.11 a.m., Place: Ottapalam, Kerala

I checked the gun milan. it works out to 13.5 points. Considering my age, i was wondering if i should ignore the gun milan and go ahead. Please analyse the guys chart individually and let me know if he would be a good and stable partner. He is a divorcee and im single till date.

I note that you are 45.
But, before I look at both your charts and advise you astrologically, could you kindly
answer me the following :
You have been wise in getting other opinions.

1. Do you prefer to be as you are rather than get involved in a troubled marriage ? Or;
2. Do you prefer to wait till a suitable partner comes along through spiritual help with
astro-remedial measures and be confident and be guided in your choice ?
3. Or, do you still prefer to go ahead as you have indicated ?

1. I dont want to remain single all my life
2. I hv been waiting for 'a suitable partner' since last 20 yrs. Some did come... but let me down badly n went.. Im willing for compromises now. Have done all kinds of poojas, visited famous temples etc... got involved in spirituality since last 6 yrs....
3.. I would like to go ahead if this guy's individual chart shows that he has a good second marriage.. and that he is a nice guy.

At 45... how much choosy should i get? Im sure u had a look at my chart. All astrologers have told me that no matter whom i marry there are challenges in my marriage. So, even if i get the best guy, problems will come na...as my own chart is bad?

Pem, please tell me wht u think abt this guy... I hv met him twice. From what i could assess...He is a confident person, a bit arrogant n short tempered, focussed on his business (Import-Export). He smokes a lot and drinks too. that he did admit to me. he said he has no other vices (as if he would admit if there was any ! ). His first marriage was a love marraige to a muslim girl which lasted for 2 years. According to him, they separated as his wife n her family wanted him to convert to muslim religion and he didnt. He said their divorce was amicable and that they are still in touch sometimes over mails. She has got married and has a kid too now.

I can very clearly understand the frustration and depression you are going through. But trust me your chart don't promise marriage and i will suggest you to accept this fact as soon as possible. The sooner you will accept it, the happier you will be. I know it very well that you are hurt deep to the soul level because of this denial of marriage till now. AK Venus is under curse and if AK is under curse, the effect of the curse (which is denial of marriage) hurts to the deep soul level.

You said you are into spirituality...... Spirituality isn't about performing remedies, doing yagyas and homam and visiting spiritual places. I completely understand what you want to say. But again i will say the same thing, joining any organization isn't being into spirituality. Spirituality is to ascend yourself beyond the materialism. 90% of the people in this entire world go to any spiritual organization like Shivyog, Art of Living or ISKCON with the thought of getting something materialistic out of it..... When they get material benefit, they become the follower and start saying that they are spiritual. Are they really spiritual? Answer is NO...........

Do the mantra chant and visit ISKCON temples without any material desire.... I assure you all your material desires will be fulfilled and you will be spiritual as well.... May be if His blessings will come, you may not accept the material benefits. Develop the love for Krsna into yourself. Everything else will become secondary.

Thank you for the answers.
I do understand the plight you are in and your desire.

A compatibility of the two charts revealed the following :
He has a Rakshasha temperament and yours is Deva and this alone makes it incompatible.
You were correct in the rashi nakshatras: Yours is Swati and his is Magha.
Secondly and importantly the Graha Maitram where the Moon sign lords are enemies.
Psychological support for one another is of paramount important in spousal relationships and
this is lacking.
This further made the incompatibility even stronger.
Also, there was no Nadi Kuta agreement, and the Yoni agreement too was inadequate.
From the above, my humble opinion is that the alliance is not recommended.
Please seek other opinions as well. The final decision is yours.

At this point, I usually conclude, but since you asked me to examine the boy s chart, I have
to comment as follows:
He entered the MD of Mars, which is a functional malefic for his chart and placed in the dusthana
6H, since October 2012 and will run until October 2019. This is obviously an unfavourable period for
him and he could be notified accordingly. In poor company with Rahu in navamsha too.
His 2H of family in D1 is tenanted by functional malefic Rahu and its Lord, friend Jupiter, is fallen in the
3H and in the close company of Venus - the Most malefic planet of the chart, and significator of
marriage/happiness etc. Lord of 7H of marriage, and MMP is in 3H with fallen Jupiter, closely, to give
more stresses and strains.
So,therefore, your complaint about his drinking and smoking. I cannot see
this getting any better when he finishes the Mars MD and enters the next 18 years of Rahu MD.
Now it is up to you to decide.

A few more comments :

Getting married with a younger boy is not advisable.
For him to still be in contact with his ex on mails is not acceptable, unless they had
a child together and a good reason for it. In a way, his ex wife is disloyal, to her present
husband and their parting is not clear-cut and there is danger present. She has a child
for her second marriage and this first-love connection is still glowing in her heart.
He would be sleeping with you, but do you really know who he will be actually think of ?

I do not believe that they divorced because of the muslim conversion. If at all, it would
happened before their marriage. It appears that she still cares for him and he too has
a place for her in his heart. Don t be fooled !
When the novelty wears off and if cracks appear on the other side, it is a strong possibility
of them getting together again.
Remember that you are older than him and as time progresses you are more at a disadvantage.
I think you ought to select wisely and besides being choosy, to widen your age-range for searching
a reliable and dependable partner. Increase the range upto 65 and you will have many responses.
There is a saying: It is better to be an old man s darling than a young man s slave

Lastly, by sincerely praying and asking the Almighty to grant your desire you will be granted same

Your Mercury is combust and in 8H in your chart, the lord of your house of marriage.
The atmakaraka Venus - significator of love, marriage, happiness is badly placed in the 8H, with
Sun and Mars who are also important significators.

I also meant to tell you that you are in the peak period of Sade Sati and
it should start getting better after October 2014, when Saturn moves out
of your Moon sign.
Pls keep in mind that the Creator and agents do not want big poojas, big temples,
but all they want is sincerity and daily worship at home by recognising that you are owned
by the Creator and when you pay this respect and given attention from the time you
wake up each morning then you will also receive attention even more.
I hope that you will make this your lifestyle and then experience the difference to
understand and gain strength to go forward through life s tiresome journey.
Keeping thoughts, words and actions as clean as possible in all dealings is also important.

It is made up of 'Saadhesaat' which means a period of 'Seven & a half' years. A person or his Chandra Rashi or Moon Sign is said to be under the influence of Sadhesati if the Shani or Saturn in Gochar or present tense is transitting through that Chandra Rashi or it's previous rashi or it's next rashi.

When the Shani in gochar (or present) enters the previous zodiac of the Chandra rashi of the person, sadhesati is said to be started on that Chandra rashi (first charan of sadhesati is said to be started). When the Shani enters in the Moon sign of the person, second charan is said to be started & when the Shani enters the next rashi, third charan is said to be started. since Shani takes a period of about 2.5 years in transitting through a zodiac, this way in transitting thorugh three rashis it would take a total of: - 2.5 + 2.5 + 2.5 = 7.5 years.

Three contiguous rashis would always be under the influence of Shani's sadhesati simultaneously. Some rashi would be under first charan, previous to this rashi would be under second charan & previous to this previous rashi would be under third charan of sadhesati. There are a total of 12 rashis. This way 3/12 = 0.25 or 25% rashis are always under the influence os Shani's sadhesati.

Most Important.....But this concept of Sadhesati is not a part of Vedic Astrology & is a part of jyotish of so called pandits. Mahadasha-Antardasha of grihas plays a more vital role in determining about a person's time phase (good or bad regarding a particular issue of life) at a given time. Sadhesati affects a person more on psychological basis.

Have you heard about transits? Have you read about what Astrological literature have mentioned about how transits work? Saturn's transit in any house has very serious effect. Read the book written by C. S. Patel ji on Nadi and Navamsa. You will understand what Saade Sati is. Saade Sati doesn't mean all 7.5 years are going to be bad. It depends on so many other things. If i will get time from my busy schedule, i will definitely share sutras on Saturn's transit and how they work and effect the native.

It is a request that just because you didn't come through the concept of Sade Sati in literature, don't say that it is not a part of Vedic Astrology.

My Dear Friend/may be senior,

You may be right for sure but Sade-Sati concept is highly misinterpreted by so called Tom, frack and harry like astrologers specially in our India. Rather than correct information in description they put their highly emotional statements in description/s. They were so attached with their emotion/s first and then after their logic/knowledge.
An Odd example of emotions ::As we see in the india/world we can kill a person for a temple made by us and we forget that, that person is itself a temple made by our great God. Reason is the same our emotions are at first, rest all(gyan, God,Karma, etc.) at second place.

You may see lot of people like Amitabh Bachchanm, Bal Thakere, Atal Bihari V., etc who got rise/fall while in Sade-Sati but just have a look at planets's Mahadasha & Antardasha during that time/s, you will find right answers of your right questions.

Note:Shani Dev as a planet is highly misunderstood by us. Its a planet of justice not a planet of hurdles. In its period a person will get what he "deserves" in actual not what he needs/desires. An actual hard worker may rise and a culprit can fall!

You have started a very interesting discussion. I will say one thing that actually Karma and Prarabdh is something which is not known even 10% to the people of Kaliyuga. There have been people who have an understanding of this. I was blessed to have meeting with a few of such divine personalities and interact with them. I will share my experiences and my knowledge which i got through interacting those personalities on this group. Before that i will share one birth chart and we will see what Saturn is actually when it comes to Vedic Astrology.
This is a very high misconception among people in today's era about certain planets and they start following things what they see on different news channels, serials and all.
