You are under Rahu dasha & Jupiter's period is yet to come. Rahu will give mixed results coz, well placed in upachaya house in natal but weak in D-9 placements, better results in middle phase will be realised(between-2018 to 2024).

I have been reading this forum to understand Jupiter mahadasha. I am currently going through the Jupiter MahaDasha myself and it has been SIX months now. I was unemployed six months ago and since then I have been trying to get back to job but unsuccessful as of today. Still trying, lets see when I will end up in a job. I came to know through this forum that this dasha lasts for 16 years. I am little scared.

It would be helpful for me if you could look into my birth chart and let me know about my job, financial situations and also regarding Jupiter location (exalted or debilitated). Below are my details.

Jupiter My friend

My Birth Details : 2nd Sep 1983, 8:35-8.45 AM( not exactly known), 76E30, 11N30 (Gudalur,Nilgiris, Tamilnadu)
I believe I was running Sade-Sath during Jupiter and Saturn AD as well.
Jup-Jup : I have this tendency of putting in a lot of efforts on things I like or wish to do and not care much about the rest (especially in studies). So I ended up scoring 90+ in four papers and flunking in one. I never studied seriously for any exams later. Never. Must have had God's grace, I was reckless in studies, when room mates used to study (exam night) I used to sleep. yet never flunked again, got through with descent marks. Stopped speaking to my two elder sisters and haven't spoken till today to one of them.
Jup-Sat : Worked on my project diligently, Got a seat in a very reputed engineering college in India, two jobs in campus (my core discipline). Felt like challenged here, thrived on it and had a no-nonsense image. More responsibilities, Mother health problems, Sibling health problems, had to deal with all of them.
Jup-Mer: Like a flipped switch, I actually started getting deep into my subjects, professionally very good time, great hikes. personal life disaster, Dad seriously sick, took loan to get my sister married, Enough money to pay but no savings,Huge responsibilities. Slowly started building the reputation of go-to person.
jup-Ketu: First moments of spiritual inclination and continues even today- has made me believe in Her Unflinchingly even today and has become the rock of my life, professionally the same as mercury AD,personal life some resemblance of calm. Actually the first time in 7 years my personal life stabilized.
Jup-Venus: Started to get global reputation in profession, but financial gains almost nil, Dad gets sick again, Other family issues. Fell in love with a girl, start of extremely high-low ride. End of venus-changed jobs. More professional improvement, Relationship kept going down.
Jup-Sun: Relationship broke. Another job change , landed on a dream job, started building a solid reputation. gets my last sister married (i have 4 sisters all elder:).) Started to be at peace.
Jup-Moon : the start of up an down rides, had to tackle tricky situations in office, but overcame them, travel, step up of responsibilities in office, loved it. Got married, Serious differences with wife, Marriage in doldrums, lack of sleep, health issues, sense of being lost.. complete DISASTER in personal life. Savings slightly improved. Started fasting on Thursdays.

I don't know what is in store in Jup-Mars. Just entering..

Can some one advise me.. I do not know where my marriage is going.. I want to go abroad.. I need a change of place. An international assignment will help in many ways..

I used the time of birth as 8.40am.

Your chart is very good from the financial/career point of view - Saturn exalted in 2nd house of family and wealth, Lagna Lord Mercury exalted in Bhadra Mahapurusha Yoga in Lagna, Rahu very benefic in Bhagya, Jupiter benefic and aspecting 7th and 11th houses.

It's obvious why you have done well in career.

As for marriage/relationship, Jupiter's aspect and exalted Saturn have given you marriage, but your Venus is retrograde in 12th and with a powerful Sun, who is further making Venus weak.

I can see only this as a factor for the disappointments in relationships and marriage.

Pray to Vishnu-Lakshmi daily. Fast every Purnima.

You can go abroad in Jupiter-Rahu. Jupiter-Mars may be average.

Jupiter-Rahu should be good for working abroad. Saturn Mahadasha should be better for relationships and also for abroad.
