Hi,
I was just wondering if the effects of debilitation depend on the degrees of debilitated planets.
I mean will the harmful effects of sun in libra will be lesser if it is at 21 deg instead of 10 deg ?
Will the neech bhanga will be more effective in such a case?

Yes, it does.

The key thing that changes is the nakshatras, and naturally also the navamsa placements. That can change the severity, or in extreme cases cause even a bhanga of neecha.
With reference to the point of deepest debilitation of Sun, it falls in Sagitarius [ <10] and capricorn [>10 deg].

At 21 deg in libra, sun falls in aries navamsa, which is is exaltation point. This is a powerful Neecha-bhanga.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for reply. For 6 deg Venus in Virgo Venus is in aquarius navamsa and 13 deg Moon in scorpio moon is in scorpio navamsa.
So when talk of strength of planets in D9 chart, In this case will it mean that strength of Sun,Venus and Moon will be increased irrespective of debilitation in D1 chart?

These are completely different placements.
Venus is in kumbha is not so good.
Moon in vruschika rasi and navamsa is "vargottam" but it is in neecha rasi and navamsa. Vargottam actually is slightly misleading here, this is more to indicate emphasis rather than the word excellence as denoted by "uttam".

Hello ,
Have a similar question . Have sun (29 30 degrees ) debilitated in libra which is conjuct mercury in 9th house . Have debilitated venus in 8th house virgo . Venus has neech bhanga . Also due to parivartan between 8th and 9th house will this give sun a neech bhanga ? In navamsa sun is in gemini in 4th house .

Thank you

CL,
Deepest debilitation point of sun is 10 deg of libra.
Not sure what you mean by this

Yes, it is 10.000000 degrees in libra.

In the above statement regarding Sagi and Capri, I was there referring to the Navamsas of the sun around 10 deg in Libra. On re-reading what I had earlier written, I now realize it was not clear.

For a real chart, unless sun is in that exact degree, the two navamsas for 9.9999 and 10.0001 are the ones I wrote above.

Dear Sir, does this concept true for divisional charts too? i mean if in dasamsa if jupiter is debilitated at 19 deg instead of 5 deg will the adverse effects of debilitation be reduced?
