I don't know what is special about this conjunction but Saturn and Mars are enemies. However Mars is strong in own house in scorpio while natural malefics like Saturn are known to do well in the 11th ..How close is the conjunction ? Are they in the same nakshatra ?..You have already passed through Saturn dasha so you obviously know how good or bad that period was in the past

Hi astro123,

How are you doing? Mars and Saturn are 11 deg apart at 11th house - Scorpio. Mars is at visakam nakshatram 4th pada and saturn at Anuradha 4th pada too.. I went thru saturn between my 0-5 years and so I do not remember much. But Mars has got the highest BAV in my chart with 7, saturn with 4 and an SAV of 40 each.

Whatever I have read thus far conjunctions are most effective (+ve or -ve) when planets are less than 5 deg of each other..11 deg may mean they have a moderate influence on each other though I could be totally wrong . It is like 2 people in the same building but on different floors . In any event you will not run Mars dasha until late in life . The root cause of your and my problems is coming from our MD lord

Mars is in enemy sign (Mercury being the house lord), Saturn is in friend sign.
Yes, they do conjunct very close Mars at 170* 14' and Saturn at 172* 3'.

I was also born with moon in Anuradha nakshtra which is again mars + saturn.
In my lagna (gemini), i have Sun(77* 9') and Rahu (79* 58' ) conjunction, which is also close.

I read that Anuradha nakshtra gives success from 35 years of age. I also read that Rahu removes eclipse from 32-35 onwards.

Ketu MD(Age 3-10) was a good period in my life...I was good at studies had friends and other stuff...Only sting I can think of was changing of school...and separation of friends...and 3-4 burns during diwali...alot of physical injury but along with sweet memories

A rational approach is always welcome until you reap the benefits and the going is smooth. I agree there are similar stories in other threads as well. But everything though similar has got unique distinctions.

These can happen in any other period too. But why so many of these has to happen all at one time for people running a particular MD.

Academic wise it was average...not many friends during this period...abit marred with bad memories, average studies..fewer good memories...though after 2005 it has been sort of ok/good...had a good saturn AD(ended in Jan2013)..Good in academics/made my own friends, got job..

Where is your Venus placed and also Sun & Moon.? I was thinking Ketu being in 7th house what kind of effect it will show at such a young age of 3 to 10. Are you married? How is your relationship with your spouse? Nothing personal to ask, you may ignore answering it, just wanted to check what ketu can do being in 7th house even if the MD period is not running. I too have Ketu in 7th but in d-9.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that these 2 weeks pass away smoothly. More than anything to happen, i think the mere thought that Venus period has started will in itself give a big relief. We understand the transformation will not come within a day and will take time, but one chapter will end another will begin.

I apologies as i have hurt you. My intentions were not towards that.

By grace of god, i took birth in a good place and in a good family. but anyway...without trying to further the argument...i must say i do have faith in astrology and it is clear our view of astrology is other way around.

in my view instead of finding reason in astrology for things not working our.....we must be proactive and see and prepare for period where things will not work out for us.

my indication for other threads was to say that, in all major departments of like e.g. family, love,job, money etc....we see people from all kind of dasha and planet placements having difficult time......

I am going through Budha antardasha of Ketu mahadasha. Mercury + Venus in 12th house in taurus.

Last few days i am very much drawn towards learning more about astrology and mediation (kundalini awakening). Going through Ketu Mahadahsha has made me realize the importance of staying balanced in life, that's the only way to be happiest in life. Probably, that's the only remedy for all going through Ketu MD. I am only realizing this towards the end of Ketu MD.

I will be attending a mediation course this weekend. I hope god blesses me with an opportunity to awaken my kundalini.

So venus for Aquarius Asc is the best benefic planet being a Yogakaraka and despite it being in own sign has delivered below average results according to you. Jeez..it is giving me the creeps now as the signs are ominous as my Venus is not even in its own house

If I were to guess, My Ketu is in P.Phalguni Nakshatra(Venus)...But Venus is in Rohini Nakshatra(Moon)...

Also might depend upon the length...20 yrs is alot of time...especially when you are growing up, finishing college...getting a job...This period(age of 10-age of 27) will of course have ups and down and getting in terms with whats happening...

7yrs of ketu dasha...especially during 2yrs of age-10yrs of age...wont sting much unless(it might have stung..but in my own opinion that sting wouldnt have mattered) there is a drastic affect for yrs to come...

In my life major altering affects(stinging) took place in 1988-1990(merc MD) and in 1999(venus MD)

I am Gemini ascendent with Ketu in 7th house. I got married in Ketu-Venus. We both have frequent spats even for very small reasons almost once every month. But i have learned to get over it by keeping ego aside and keeping calm when your other half is loosing temper. I myself is short tempered at times.

But there is still something which holds / binds us together.
