How do we see the sting at the end of Ketu dasa?

Again this is assuming that Venus is strong and benefic for that chart. Every individual and chart is obviously different.it just so happened that ketu is a destructive force in our charts. A well placed ketu may also deliver wonderful results and similarly an afflicted Venus can also bring a native down. Hope is eternal. I am basing my assumption that my life will get better banking on Venus but maybe Venus has its own agenda which I will know in the next 2 decades if I am alive that long .!

Quite the same thing happened to me. Even in my Ket-Ket it was the time when global recession was gaining pace. A lot of people were laid off in my project. I was disturbed and scared. But my name was not even in the list of dangerous zone people. I was sent to onsite for a brief period to my surprise. I read somewhere that Ketu gives one last chance during the first two years for us to accept its agenda and behave. Unaware of the future we be who we are and then get kicked inside out, upside down[/quote]
I don't quite understand this. Just before commencement of Ketu MD in Feb, 2007, went through a turmoil from August, 2006 to Dec, 2006. Broke off with my gf from college time about whom i was really serious. She betrayed me and none of in our circle believed if she could do it. It was biggest shocks of my life. Could not take it, sleepless nights, days without food and what not.
Was this the impact of upcoming Ketu MD ? If it was, then how Ketu antardasha in 2007 proved benefic ?

Ketu is a planet without brain it's head been cut off as rahu.. It behaves unpredictably.l till last moment you can't be sure what he might come up with.. May be the positive results were to get you high and then throw you off with a solid push downwards..give n take twice of given..that's his nature till the point u realise wht is actually happening.. Might me he let u have what u consider good just because he didn't want you to take the other path which who knows wud have been even better than what u got..

Same thing happened.. Got ditched and dumped royally by my partner.. Have a feeling that i got used..and it still hurts so bad..and I am not at all happy!

The first couple of years for me was uneventful !! It was smooth! At that time I remember an astrologer telling my mom that your sons mercury is over and ketu has started and he s going to be successful in all ways. I don know whether he was sarcastic :p I was also betrayed by my gf. It wud be unfair to say so because she was forced by her parents to marry someone else - a politicians nephew kind. I broke off just before the commencement of Ketu MD, approx 6 months before. I don't regret it much. Because by god's grace, i got a very good spouse (same cast, arranged marriage ) during Ketu-Venus. My parents,relatives would have strongly opposed the gf who was of different religion. But yes, i still feel that sadness whenever i remember those events, i was hurt so much from a person whom i trusted the maximum.
Life moved on and got very good job offer (with an employer which consistently ranked in Fortune's best 100 employers). For the first 2 years of Ketu Mahadasha, i got very good salary and got married. Felt like i am heading in the right direction and all this is because of my luck. Kind of started taking things for granted. Next 2 years, slowly started realizing that things are actually not working. Stagnation in salary, couldn't invest the money properly and grow it further. At the start of Ketu MD, i met the astrologers who predicted all good about me, which made me feel high.
From 2011-2013, started feeling anxious running after astrologers. I met some who started predicting not so good, making me face the reality and it was really hard to take. I was looking to buy home since 2008, but couldn't buy even if i had money. The home prices kept rising and now almost doubled from what they were in 2008. I almost closed the deal on almost 2 occasions but dramatically, the seller turned back at the last moment. My search is still on for a home, couldn't create any asset for such a long period. I hope this is only due to Ketu MD (i also have Mars-Sat in 4th house).
I have reached a state where any success in my life will be received by me most humbly. Ketu MD really teaches you to be humble, even if luck is favoring you.

hi i am neither in Ketu AD or MD.... but on other side of spectrum..
i am here to help you and my dear friend...last few months...from Feb onwards.....
i have been to jail, on road, no job, no money, to many different places, and no proper clothes, no mobile phone (now also when i am writing i have no phone, but i have a lappy n data card!!) but to be true to god, i have regular food (not necessary to my liking) blah blah blah....
point is if u dont know how to swim...better to go down stream n keep breathing...
many people will say it like....keeping faith....believe in destiny...have hope...be strong.... good time are around corner..blah blah ...
i am aware you cannot expect wonders...in a day or weeks or months... so if u can understand me.. but time has to be spent....
i have no job...no relationship...no family....etc...but i have food clothing..people who help me...people whom i can ask for help.....i have not seen my family from feb onwards.....i do not know when i will see them...

I don't know what is special about this conjunction but Saturn and Mars are enemies. However Mars is strong in own house in scorpio while natural malefics like Saturn are known to do well in the 11th ..How close is the conjunction ? Are they in the same nakshatra ?..You have already passed through Saturn dasha so you obviously know how good or bad that period was in the past
