Following are the details( though this is my chart, I am not trying to get a reading, but please use it for discussion).

Lat: 12 58 N Lon: 77 34 E
-I have Taurus ascendant, functional malefics are – Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Rahu and Ketu.
- Jupiter(R) is in ascendant along with Gulika.
- Yogakaraka Shani in 3rd House.
- Mercury(R), Mars, Sun in 5th House.(Virgo) – Mercury partially combust, 5th lord in 5th, currently undergoing Mercury-Mercury Dasha
- Moon(Deb), Venus(Deb), Rahu in 6th.( Libra)
-Ketu in 12th.
What do you make of the conjunction in my 6th house?
- Lagna Lord Venus is functional malefic, owns 1st and 6th houses, is debilitated and in Libra in the 6th house and Moolatrikona (6th lord in 6th house).
- I have heard Rahu does well in 6th, but how would it fare in this mix, especially with graham yog with moon(waning, sukhlapaksha) in same dusthana, and malefic Jupiter conjunct Gulika in lagna.
- How would the 5th house affect the 6th here( 12th from the 6th).

Yes, I guess I was wrong when I thought Mo and Ve were debilitated.
Intstud, I read your other post on the same subject, and it was very informative.You mentioned this concept(paraphrasing here) of 6th house being house of doing work, and benefics do not have the energy or strength to live up to this. It kind of makes me wonder how it applies to exalted functional malefic in its own sign.( I guess it being a natural benefic, it doesn't have energy, period. )
Also, as far as I have read since Rahu is exalted in Taurus, it would be pretty weak in Libra, though it is a friend's house. So, how would a debilitated malefic fare here...is it true that "A weak evil planet in a good house or a bad house, wherever he may be,will spoil the house more than a strong evil planet." Does this mean that Rahu will destroy the significations of the house...thus acting as a protector?
And in terms of Venus- "It is true that a planet owing two houses if placed in own house, makes or develops only one house not the other"

I have own house venus in 4th
It also owns 11th house occupied by rahu in taurs
My immediate elder sibling expired during thirties.

Are you saying Venus was harsh on 4th house significations, and if it were benefic to the other house- Rahu should probably magnify it even more. What is your ascendant? That kind of makes me wonder...like when they match horoscopes for marriage...how much of one person's horoscope can affect another..and when they talk of 'graha yuddha' do you have to take all these synastries into concern. Personally, I feel..to each their own.
