Dear viduna,
You have pretty much analysed your chart very well. Yes AK periods can be troublesome..More so if he combust and weak.More over he is in debility in navamsa.
Here Sun is also the lord of your 22nd drekkana which adds to the affliction . Your tenth lord is in the fifth from both moon and lagna. Your indu lagna[wealth] is cancer whose lord is placed in the twelveth to it conjunct rahu and the depositor is mercury. So all in all mercury dasha does not look great from a career perspective except for the lord of 11th aspecting the second house which gives you wealth now and then.
Firstly you need to pray to sun god by chanting adhithya hrudaaya stotram and along with it prayers to LORD NARASIMHA for a smooth career and this prayer needs to be very consistent .
You can practice astrology in ketu dasa itself but since you have rahu/moon in the second aspected by Saturn ,you could be some times very negative in your approach. Please take care of that.
Since mercury is in INDRA amsa in your dasamsa if you are diplomatic in your work place you can sail through easily. But this weak atma karaka can propel you towards spirituality .
If you can handle a bit of anger at work place, things should be better in the career front once you start the propitiations.

Dear viduna,
I think good analysis is already done by ramananji,Generally atmakaraka dashas will be troublesome I suggest you to Pray Lord Vishnu.Since mercury is in 8th in navamsa,also debiliated there will be troubles in this period I suggest you to get done santhi pooja for mercury by any priest asap(they will do mantra japa 17000 times on your name),fast on wednesdays if possible.
Further astrology is not bad option,since jupiter is well placed in navamsa but in current mercury mahadasha it may take some time may be upto mercury/rahu to make yourself feel that you are capable enough to give predictions.Since mercury is in Indra-amsa in dasamsa Manager/bossy roles will be suitable for you.Also mercury is placed in ghati lagna,fetches fame and power,this is good placement.

Re location is possible once his rahu dasha starts in 2014 july, As he grows up slowly goad him in to worship of hanuman ji either through pictures or comic books or stories. This will help him go a long way in life.

I hope and pray that the relocation is inside US itself.I should have rephrased my query. Sorry for the confusion. I was curious to know if by any chance I'll return to India but basically I want to settle in US itself. That is the reason I requested you to see if any hint in my son's horoscope that we will go back to India. Being born in US,I want to give him the best support and education in his home land rather than taking him to India just because I couldn't shine in my career.
Thank you for your suggestion on Hanuman Pictures. Infact I asked my mom to get him a small Hanuman idol in gold and he wears all the time. Is it because of Sani Chandra conjunction? Also Sani,Chandra and Rahu are not closely conjunct in degrees. So is it correct to say that there wont be much negative influence? Also I have read in Sanjay Ji's articles that Sani Chandra conjunction in 4th,10th,11th will give Raj Yoga.

Yes...It is better not to analyse a chart till the kid turns 12. sages say that the kid suffers the karma of the mom till four and dad till 8 and its own sanchita for that 8years till 12 and then only the prarabda descends.

Hai,
Sun in lagna ..the person can be an over powering personality, if he can have his way..The atma karaka in the chart will propel him towards its significations [naturally] as it represents the most powerful soul desire and sun will back it up to the hilt and the boy can become over bearing...
