I have been trying to get an apartment home in India. I don't reside in India now. However I want to get one soon so that it will be helpful once I come back. Been looking for quite sometime now. Will I be able to get a house soon? I have Rahu in the 4th house in my chart. Does this mean I cannot own a house as I have a malefic in the 4th house?


Also when will I be able to go back and settle down in India? Is it even possible? I am having a troubled marriage life too. i personally feel it may get better if we were in India. Please look at my chart and let me know.

I would also like to know if there is any divisional chart that has to be looked at for checking residence/buying home/owning a property?

Mercury, mars, ketu or venus when strongly connected to earth signs it indicates immovable properties. Your D4 has Venus, Jupiter and Mercury in the earth signs - this means as per the vimshottari - you will have a chance to buy a property in the sub periods of Mercury.

Thank you so much for taking a look. Is it possible to figure out if I could buy the property in India or abroad? My spouse wants to stay abroad for sometime whereas I want to get back as soon as possible.

It will be auspicious if you buy it in India (4th lord indicates mommy land).

Thanks for your valuable response. How long will it take for me to come back to India? Will I have to stay abroad for long? I have been told that my abroad stay will be troublesome and filled with issues as the combination for it is not very auspicious. Is it true?

Its nothing like that, but being in India is more auspicious. There is nothing wrong with settling abroad but it has to be for the right reasons and not at the expense of weak ascendant lord or through the loss of personal integrity...this type of settlement I personally don't approve of.

Your D4 shows a weak Jupiter but a stronger Mercury aspects your 4th house, so in future you may be able to come back. But again you have a choice and you have to consider your spouses' opinion too which is why I can't be sure on the time-frame, but there are definitely change of places and long travels indicated.
