cancelation of mangal dosha..possible?..

8) i was watching the daily bhavishya dashan on my news channel yesterday..,they generelly show charts and show remedy for that..,once they say that mars's mangal dosha gets cancled when rahu ketu or saturn is in kendra bhavas...is this correct?..,
They also said once that weak mars produces weak mangal dosha...(i thought the weaker the mars by sign harsher the yoga becomes)...is this also right?..
Expert opinion needed...all comments are welcome..

I am just a learner but still I would like to put my two cents in it. I have analysed several charts of divorcees and couples having troubled marriages - all collected from this forum. Many of them have so called cancelled-manglik dosh - married to non-mangliks.

I am not saying Mars is solely responsible for the failed marriages, there were other factors too. But being manglik was definitely a red flag. Specially, for couples who have abusive/violent marriages.

Example 1:

Per theory, manglik dosh gets cancelled, "if benefic Jupiter or Venus is in ascendant/ "if Mars is in conjunction or aspected by Jupiter or Moon."

The wife's chart has mars in ascendant along with jupiter. Rahu Ketu are also in kendra. The chart satisfies mangal dosh cancellation theory.

The couple had a love marriage. 8 kuta matching score was 25 out of 36. Both the charts look pretty good for marriage, except some minor issues like

1. in wife's chart relationhip-karak Venus is with saturn.
2. Ju is in inimical Me's house.
2. both have jupiter debilitated in D9

We don't know the current status but their marriage was in trouble. Can we blame it on mangal dosh?

Example 2:

The wife has mars jupiter in 7th house. Satisfies cancellation theory. 8 kuta matching score was 26.

Husband has rahu in 7th, wife has rahu's aspect on 7th. Wife's jupiter is debilitated in D9. Other than that I don't see any issues in the charts.

So what went wrong? Rahu in 7th is not the best placement for a happy married life, I agree. But I think, Mars also played a role here.

Here's one more example:
Singer Whitney Houston (August 9, 1963, 8:55 PM, Newark, NJ) and Bobby Brown (February 5, 1969, 5:21 AM, Boston, MA) had a rocky marriage. Brown was arrested for battery after a domestic dispute left Houston with facial injuries.

Houston's chart has mars in 7th, receiving aspect from jupiter and moon in ascendant.

Hi Exalted Mars,

What I have observed is that the malefic yogas or placements do not get cancelled as is written in many books. Same with Maglik dosha, its malefic effect will be there no matter how much cancellation theories you put.
The issue is that today everybody claims to be an astrologer by reading a few books or listening to somebody but in reality Astrology is not this simple to be predicted by anybody.
So we need to find out the truth and this forum is for that only !!

What I believe is that we need to look at 4th, 7th and 12th houses for a succesful marriage and if these houses do have any malefics or aspects, then you can say that your married life will be good, otherwise not.

So even if your Gun milan predicts a very low score, but if these 3 houses are good in both the partners, then we need not to worry.

Last but not the least the janam Nakshatra of both the partners is also very important.

Any views on my views ??

Hi Mars,

I have Saturn in my 10th house and Sun, Moon and Mercury in 4th house. Yes Saturn will bring some malefic effects on all these 3 houses by its aspects and it has brought some but there are no malefic planets as such in my 4th, 7th or 12th house, so the effect is somewhat low.
Though I am an Engineer by profession, but now more interested in Music and Astrology which are my biggest passions.
As regards married life, its going smooth as there are no malefics in these houses in my wifes chart.
what about you ?
