I am wondering what professions are related to venus. My Amk is Venus and I am currently working in low paying temp lab research job in a US university. I have a PhD in life science related discipline.
My hobbies photography, online selling, and affiliate websites have become my side businesses. These were showing some potential recently and I am also very interested to switch.
Can any experienced astrologer tell me if my chart is suitable to do online business as full time? Will the switch fruitful considering my dasas? An experienced astrologer told me my venus is afflicted because of 3 malefic aspecting 10th house, so I can't get a high paying job in life science discipline (venus related).

No, I did not learn any music. I have passion towards artistic photography, have won several prizes, also into computer arts, graphics, website building etc. My current work hassles not letting me to focus on these aspects unless I give up my current work and switch to these avocation into my vocation.
I am leaning towards changing my career to:
- statistical programmer (desk job) as full time
- photography , art, graphics, affiliate web marketing, online selling - as part time
Please let me know if my planets allow me to succeed in these professions to full scale or I will be just a jack of all trades but master of none.
