Applying Chandrakalanadi shloka in Navamsa D9 charts!!

Dear Members,
Chandrakalanadi has shloka on Cancellation of Malavya Mahapurush Yoga. It states that if Jupiter is in conjunction with Saturn or Saturn aspects Jupiter,Malavya yoga gets cancelled. Good results of exalted Venus will not materialize and the native is troubled by the blemish.

Is this dictum true and could be applied to Navamsa D9 charts as well? Is yes,what if one has Venus as Atmakaraka and it is exalted in Pisces Navamsa Lagna. Does it mean that exaltation of Atmakaraka in D9 Lagna gets nullified?
