I found a bunch of career's for Tau

Is a creative field like cinema suitable for taurus?

Xxyyzz, I looked up several other charts to actually verify the connection been Amk and career.
It just isn't clicking.
It might be because they aren't in the fields they are meant to be in, like to said, but I am not sure.
Is finding something as important as career just dependent on Amk? I mean, it sounds too easy. I mean, isn't it a good idea to dig deeper into a chart before coming to a conclusion?
In a reply to one of my other posts, Elipsis (a frequent contributor) mentioned that the 9th and 10th lords (I think of D10) need to be taken into account when deciding career related things,
In Barbara Pijan's website, she says that the choice depends on 10th house and lord in D1, 10th house in D9 and the complete D10 chart (and a few other factors).
Don't you think just looking atAmk seems way too easy?

yes even that can show your career too .....
but i think this is the simple way to define the career path which is meant for you....
but its not necessary that ppl keep working acc to amk ...
nw days ppl keep changing their profession.....
amk simply shows what your chart as profession supports...
there much deeper to learn in this part ..
simply sun as amk cannot give political or govt. career to everybody...
but even person with this amk can be a civil or mechanical engineer ..
but he also may undertake govt. contracts ...
i am not saying that amk will be only your career field but if not can somehow make you related to that field....

I think you should see the position of Venus and Rahu in D1 chart because
Venus represents passion towards something. For eg Venus in 8th house shows intrest in deep ocult science.
Rahu here is obsession so ,
For eg Rahu placed in 2nd house makes a person dealing in buisiness as he makes a person obsessed towards saving wealth.
Rahu placed in 7th house with Venus also represents passion and obsession towards wordly pleasures and buisiness.

Hi Debraj,
Venus as AK or AmK doesn't show a career in media/movies. There should be a strong connection between 1st (Body or Self) with 3rd (artistic abilities) and 10th (career) in Rasi D1/Navamsa D9. To some extent you can apply this principle in Dasamsa D10 as well. But primarily one should have strong ties among lords of 1,3 and 10 in D1/D9 charts either from ASC or when counted from Moon.
If 10th lord is not involved and the individual only has ties between 1st and 3rd then they might have very good artistic abilities but will not take acting/media as a profession.
Some tidbits:
Sun + Venus conjunction without Venus being combust gives an individual Magnetic Personality. Especially in Lagna.
Saturn's 3rd and 10th aspect on Venus gives good dramatic abilities to a person. I have personally observed this in few actor's horoscope.
Mercury + Venus conjunction makes a person good in acting. If the person is an actor,then he will be a very good actor.But this conjunction alone doesn't show a career in movies.
Mars should be strong to make a person "Mass Hero". Saturn and Moon's aspect on 10th house gives huge fan following.
