I am thinking of wearing a diamond for strengthening my venus ..since venus is yogakarka in my case and is weak in 6th house ..but then 6th house is also house of diseases so I am confused...

my question may sound silly but am really confused .. can we purchase this diamond i mean the one we want to use for astrological purpose from brands like tanishq, caratlane which also sell solitaires and can fit in tailor made instructions to touch the skin ?

or should we purchase such diamond from gemstores who are charging me as high as some 90000 for a 0.5 carat diamond whereas some excellent quality diamonds are available with these stores at rates much lower and some test certificates which endorse the quality .

So i wanted to know - whether there is any difference in the gem?

Will a .25 carat solitaire do the work ?
or should i stick to pujas and shukra vrath for remedy and my venus to produce desired results ?

I don't know about all this, so I can't help you in this matter. But then, if looked at from a logical perspective, a diamond from Tanishq or Cartlane should do its job as well as diamond purchased from some gemstone shop.

I'm new into studying Vedic astrology. I studied the horoscope of a person to find the quality of his relationship with mother. Below are his birth information:

DOB: 28th July 1995
time: 15:58
Place: Kandy, Sri Lanka
Gender: male

Can someone analyze his chart to comment about his relationship with mother, so that I can cross check my own analysis in order to check whether I'm correct.
I also used the concept of arudha lagna and matru arudha when analyzing the horoscope.

Vinda, Though I am novice in astrology, yet let me try. There is a Kroor/ malefic planet in 12th house and mangal looking at the 4th house which is the house of mother. Guru in 12th house as 4th Lord. Moon in 8th house. Overall, it shows not good relations with mother. It may be separative or the native's independent nature.

Dear Preeti, according to my analysis the native's relationship with mother is quite good. First of all Guru is a benefic, it is not malefic. Next, moon is in its own sign, which means it has a good dignity. It receives positive aspect from Jupiter in 12th house. Even though certain houses are considered an evil , what I fell is that no houses are evil on it's own. It solely depends on the house lords an planets placed in them. The 8th house can cause both good and bad. What it really shows is sudden ups and downs (good and bad). In today's world I feel 8th house is more positive, because it shows revolution and transition. In this horoscope as house lord is in it's own house it forms a good viparita raj yog showing positive transition. It's true that the 4th house is afflicted to some extent by mangal which might cause occasional quarrels with mother. However, the arudha of 4th house (matru arudha) which shows the native's relationship with mother is well placed. The native's matru arudha is 8th house which is 10th from 11th house (native's lagna arudha). As it is in Kendra position it shows good and stable relationship with mother. Matru arudha in its own is also very strong because all 4 planets: moon,sun (ravi in all arudhas is benefic as it represents dharma),venus,mercury are benefic. Therefore overall the native's relationship with mother is good.
Can some learned astrologer in this forum comment on my analysis and point out any points I've missed. It will be great if you can comment on the use of matru arudha and arudhas in general to make predictions in astrology.

Quarrles happen with her. It has to. In most of the family, quarrels dont happen. By the way, how virpreet raj yoga benefitted him so far?

I've never seen families without any quarrels or at least bickering. We are all human beings after all. No human relationship is 100% consistent. In all families I've seen temporary trivial disputes that soon vanish because, they have mutual understanding and at the end of the day they love each other. That is what I'd call a good relationship. Where such bickering and mishaps are forgotten and forgiven. I see, the same thing in the native (whom I know well). He gets forgiven a lot by his mother. Even though he is still 18, he is still nurtured by his mother (shown by moon in cancer). He has a very close relationship with his mother that is stronger that the maternal relationships of most teens I know. I have also observed that his mother tends to trust her son over everyone else.
When it comes viparita raj yog, usually affects of a particular yoga is most effective only during the mahadasha of the planets(s) forming that yoga. In this case the positive results of the yoga will most probably be seen during the moon mahadasha ,as Chandra forms the viparita raj yog.
As I asked earlier can some learned astrologer comment on my analysis of native's chart.
