Madam, the Ishta devatha is whoever you likes much to pray. It may help or may not help. Only family deity will help to take you forward in spiritual and material path. I think you mean y our family deity. Are you married? Are you from patriarchical back ground or matriarchical family back ground..these details are required to make deep study. Sir, your second answer is contradicting...you did not answer my one of the points ..you are from patriarchical family background or Matriarchical family back ground? I'm a hindu with patriarchal family background .
as for the posts you referred about kuldevtha , I'm going to give the sadhna a go so i humbly request you to guide me if its fit for me.
I read most of your posts on the forum, reading it gave insights on to the direction which you mean to guide. i get your point .
sorry for my arrogance and any miss effort cause by me to you considering the lack of experience as such compared to yours.

You said kuladevatha s are Lakshmi and kedarnaath ...this is contradicting each other. Kedarnaath is lord siva.
Lakshmi is related to Vishnu.

Sir,
upon researching more deep, i was told that its Goddess Bhavani and Shri kedarnathji.
But from last 4-5 or more genrations they have been praying to goddes mahaLaksmi and shri Kedarnathji.

Don't know why the change but its the reason i told you first time like that.

Dear sir,

1. Please do goddess Bhavani and Kedarnaathji, first, after that only you do the prayer to goddess mahalakshmi. Then it will be ok.

2 keep a dairy , clock and pen...when the Devine dream comes, you will get the break, and wake up. Immediately write down the dates ..in which two dates the dream came and in brief the dream contents, again go to sleep. Next day morning ..after your daily rituals were over sit for prayer..recollect the past dream in detail...and note down.

3. Your family deity will appear...in what manner I do not know...in the dream...and guide you, answer you...do accordingly. Your problems will be solved shortly. Identifying the family dirty is the greatest problem, once it is over...rest it depends on your sadhana.

will respond to you with what the experience i get during and after completing the sadhna for kuldevtha.

also my query regarding any dosha in my chart. is it supposed to be almost taken care with this sadhna ,
or you will guide about them later.

1) as there are 2 deities . so do i have to do 21 rounds for each or combined 21

2) which week day do i start the sadhna.

Bhavani and Kedarnaathji ji photos both put side by side . First Bhavani, then Kedarnath ji.. And pradakshinamst? For lord Siva Monday is favorite .
