Guru Transit to Gemini

--Guru moved to Gemini a few days back...and will be there for a year...and whenever a slow moving plant transits from one house to anotehr....it is a major event.

--what this means for various natives is vastly varied...and already people might have noticed events or circumstances that have risen suddenyl and abruptly.

--it could be good or bad depending on the strength of Jupiter in the natal chart....but being Jupiter even if he is not stromg in the native chart...he will still bring something small positive / protective / benefic to the house that it has moved in and the ones it is apsecting.

--It also means that some area of life that Jupiter was supporting / cushioning on the Tarus-scorpio axis are now not under Jupiter's umbrella.

--noticable now Jupiter is aspecting his own house saggitarius.,...and many say a planet aspecting his own house is almost has as strong as a planet being in swakshetra...so if Jupiter in natal rasi chart is strong...it will be a powerful positive transit....affecting positively the events denotes by the Gemini-Saggitarius axis on the rasi chart

--secondly....Transitory Jupiter is now aspecting shani in transit.....cushioning/ softening the harshness / severity of shani....in case..shani was negative for the native.

--esepcially to note is Gemini-saggitarius axis.....for leo lagna for example...this is 11-5....wealth houses.....and Jupiter wealth karak aspecting his own house the 5th from the 11th......implies sources of earnings / wealth generation should open up and multiply for a Leo lagna.

--for cancer lagna this is the 12-6 axis...and hurdels / diseases /enemies hospitalization issues should show relief and comfort...ongoing losses will come in control.

these is a very generic example and as we all know many factors work on the chart simultaneously...but is a broad illustration on how to look at the impact of this transit for various lagna.

Ever Since the transit of SATURN in Libra in NOV - 2011 , the stage has been setup for life changing events for a majority of people , but SATURN somehow was not his actual self not even in LIBRA , cause of being retrograde and moving in and out of LIBRA and then a confluence of planets in LIBRA in transit .

The 3 major planets that are of prime importance in Transit are JUPITER , SATURN and RAHU

At this point of time all 3 are influencing the houses governed by LIBRA , GEMINI and AQUARIUS
collectively . {Rahu also throws the aspect of planet it is in conjunction with , thus Aquarius too .}

so look at the chart and see which houses these signs represents in chart and if they have any correlation to the current dasha / anterdasha .

LIBRA is the most effected cause it is hosting the Two major Transitory Planet

Be Mindful of the fact that JUPITER is not always completely beneficial .... in fact when it when it hurt it hurts badly .....

• A Case Study : saw a case 3 days ago , all was going fine for a colleague , US educated , hardworking , brilliant , good performer , one of the major MNC a billion dollar client approve him to work on their project . his documents were sent for verification , Jupiter turned and the verification came negative .... why ?? because his account was put on hold for some 35 $ of fine that he haven't paid years ago , so his credentials can't be verified with the university . he paid the fine instantly , but now the Client MNC is refusing to re-verify ..... Capricorn Ascendant ... Jupiter in 6th house of service , Libra in 10th with retro sat and rahu ... now that's case closed

major events, decisions, breaking news can be expected....on the day(s) when saturn is stationary before turning direct.

also noteworthy for next one year rah-jup are in association....thru mutual aspects...so justice /balance/truth will start showing in an amplified way in all worldy affairs.

I agree with Dineshji to a point. I was told by a lot of astrologers that there would be big changes in my life post Saturn transit in November 2011 but yet to see that happen. I believe Jupiter should be beneficial for me being Aquarius asc and Libra rashi but doesnt jupiter give average results in Gemini and Libra rasi?

My lagna is gemini and jupiter is in first house. And ju-mars conjunction in aquarious in navmansa. I think this could be due to Jupiter transit.

Just to mention I have had the urge to complete my own Yagna this week by reading astrologer PVR Narasimha Rao website and manuals. Would this have anything to do with Jupiter transition ?

Though Guru transited into Gemini on 01/06/2013, he is combust till 05/07/2013. I understand that this might be the reason for delayed positive results. It is said that from July onwards results can be seen. I am a tula rasi, leo lagna native with Jupiter transiting my 9th house from moon. Had unbelievably bad time for the last few years and untold misery in the last 1 year. Waiting for the good time to start. Hopefully transit Jupiter would give some relief........

Same here. No change despite lot of positive forecasts for Libra rashi people too. I was hoping for a lot more relief from stressful situations, which hasn't happened so far, after Guru transit into Gemini. I hope the reason is as vvravi mentioned and that we start seeing benefits after Guru comes out of combustion on 5th July.

When transiting in gemini, Guru will be on Ardra nakshtra , Rahu will be in vishaka nakshatra & there will be parivathana yoga through nakshatras. How will the native born in this period be?

Also Guru will be aspecting Rahu & shani.

I have libra as my ascendent, however for the past 3 years whatever I have tried nothing has worked in my favour in terms of me increasing my income, feed up I have taken up a course which will go on for 3 years on part time basis sponsored by my work, but in the work front I feel I am not getting the recognistion , its a bit painful .. when I dont see any good growth with respect to my career, initially it was the sade sathi which was delaying was what I was told , even my health was not that great in 2011-2012 period. my dob is 21/04/1975, place is bangalore, Time is 18.28hrs.
Any advise why things are so difficult and why all attempts are not bearing fruit or when can i expect any change would be beneficial, the course I have started only end of july 2013.

Although one thing to remember is that Jupiter's 7th aspect is actually pretty weak...only 50% or so...like Mars's 7th aspect is just 25%....

I have observed that Jupiter blesses the trines it sits the most....its 5/9 aspects are strong and benefic...7th not so much...so its effects of libra will be stronger than on saggi itself

5 and 9 aspects may be stronger...but in the current transit these aspects are not on Jupiter's own house.

the 7th aspect is deriving multiplied strength from the rule " a planet aspecting his own house is almost akin to a swakshetra planet"

Hi,

I am Makar Lagna and Simha by rashi. Although jupiter moved in gemini in july, but not able to see any positive change in my situation.

Currently I am going thru rahu mahadasha with AD of Jupiter. Last 7-8 months were the horrendous months of my life.

Please analyse it
