Rahu antradasa Marriage

Marriage during Rahu antardasa is said to cause troubles in marriage.

This is complete nonsense. No such cookie cutter rules apply in astrology. Marriage in Rahu AD does not necessarily denote divorce in the making or anything like that.

Divorce is calculated from the 8th, 6th and 2nd Hs, their Ls and the Karaks for marriage and husband /wife. If they are severely afflicted, one would get divorced even if marriage happens in Jup-Jup-Jup.

swamykool, Sorry I think I didn't get my question right . If mariage happens during Rahu antardasa in my case, does the above said rahu antardasa marriage trouble apply.
I understand that not to apply the dictum in verbatim, Please clarify and being very very novice learner in astrology, want to get some thoughts of learned members.

Hi i am 27 and have rahu dasha for another 11 years!If this holds good for rahu MD too ...then there's no point getting married in this lifetime

I am also interested in knowing this. Could someone please throw some more light on this. I have been divorced once and have been told by a lot of people that a remarriage is seen in the coming Venus-Rahu dasa. I definitely dont want to be hurt the second time.

Hi All,

Rahu provides force/"Gathi" for the marriage to take place in its dasha/antardasha. Whether the marriage will be successful or not depends on the placement of other planets as well.

I would suggest, if things are fine regarding family background etc referring to the bride or the groom, then go-ahead for the marriage. There is no point in doubting every time. We all will become psychotics

Before the marriage and post marriage better to perform Ganapathi Homam which dispels all obstacles.

And don't forget to stay always positive.
