Hello Astrologers Jis!

I've heard that when analyzing a D9 Navamsa Chart that you do not consider the houses that they are in.

1. Is this true?

2. When does the D9 Chart "take over" control of my life from the main birth chart and start determining events and success in my life?

3. Can some astrologer analyze my D9 Chart and tell me how it is (good/bad) and is it better/worse than my Main Birth Chart i.e does my life get better/worse after marriage?

There's no one answer.

Most people do consider "houses" when analyzing divisionals -and Navamsa is just another divisional. However, AFAIK, none of the classical texts talks of any divisional chart and thus no house could possibly exist in any divisional chart. Amsa simply means a part of something bigger. Thus, Navamsa is simply 1/9th of a Rashi chart.

There is nothing like taking over. Navamsa, and indeed all charts are valid from start of life to the end. The Mahadashsas/ Anter Dashas are what changes the direction and results in each time period.
