I would like to know rules how to judge whether native is honest, or dishonest person. Whether he speaks the truth, or is a liar. Whether he does fair business or whether he is a cheater. Whether he is honest law-abiding with his taxes and official fees, or whether he tries to get around them, or neglets them alltogether. Whether he is a good and trustworthy, reliable employee, or undependable, unreliable worker. Whether he is honest and trustworthy to lend money to, and will pay it back, or whether he has little or no intention at all to pay it back.
This would be very intersting to study and research. I did a search, but did not find such topic from this forum.
We know that malefics on lagna and aspecting it may cause negative tendencies, as well as severely afflicted Mo, Su and Ju. But to what is the degree required for them to manifest, and to which level will they manifest, considering the running dasa etc. I welcome a good discussion =)

Sun is most important as per out ethics are concerned. As you have rightly said, well placed and unafflicted Sun, Moon and Jupiter help in keeping ethics. Another planet to watch out for is mercury. Mercury is a practical planet, also signifies street smartness, sharpness and political behavior. Afflicted mercury can make a person lie and cheat.
The need to deceive someone comes from an attitude of just thinking about self and thinking of ways of gaining profit/gains. Hence again practicality comes here. I mean to say earth signs signify practicality and so does mercury. Saturn is another planet which is to be considered for practicality and shrewdness and secretive nature.
Second house is very important. Placement of afflicted malefics in 2nd house can make a person lie.
Everything needs to be studies I totality before arriving at a conclusion.

1. Moon sign is owned by Jupiter and Jupiter also aspects Lagna. Meena rasi people are generally God fearing and follow straight path. But exalted Saturn is placed in 5th house and aspecting Jupiter.
