For example: Find the house where the lord of the UL is placed; trines from that house placement are possible ascendants for your spouse. You can read up on this by searching past entries written by Srikanth Ji.
Another cool thing using Upapada is relating the house placement with where you can potentially meet your spouse. For example: UL in the 10th could potentially mean that you would meet your spouse at work or a similar environment.
Take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt as I'm just a researcher of Astrology... BUT hey, if you guys can add onto anything else you know about UL, please add onto this post.
Also, Srikanth Ji or any other expert astrologer on this forum, can you please conduct an Upapada Analysis and possibly point out a few things? I.e. When could I possibly meet my spouse, a little bit on how she would look, direction she'd come from, Indian?, etc...
