There is no God or any such thing. If God existed, then no one would have been there on this astrology forum. This God and all is total nonsense.. Watch the movie "OH My God"

You are talking about only one movie. But ,Saddest part is you have not realized the meaning out of the film

You should see films like Jai Santoshi Maa, Bajrangbali, etc... Since God is there, therefore astrology is there buddy.............

My simple argument is if God is there, then still more than 80% of the people globally are bad condition.. 50% of Indian people dont have food to eat..

My problems are very small as compared to many other people.. Even then i will say that there is no GOD

I do not buy your stats figures. Let us assume your fig, now 50% of our people are self sufficient in their Quality of Life

I understand about your miseries but one should not loathe on the God. Let us say e.g.. in one's car thief has stolen the valuable article which was parked in the road along with other cars but thief has not touched other cars. Why he stole the valuables in that car only because there were no remedial measures ( risk management) was not observed which was easy for the thief to cash in unlike in other cars which was parked.

Injustice meted out there are various means of rising it ( escalating) like Police, Court etc for getting the justice, what will God do some one has not addressed by keeping quite

Since it was such a positive experinece, i started now om japa and my goal is to complete 100,000 in 40 days or before that. 100,000 japas is called mantra siddhi. It's then mantra reveals itself to chanter.

God exists and God created the planets and these planets are also devatahas who have done lot of penance and have realized God , so simply following astrology and saying God does'nt exist means the planets will also not help out

It is really nice to view different views on the tropic and like to add my experience too..

I'm someone who moved Vedic Chanting to Tantric Japa of mantras. Around 2008 My mind was such mess that I can concentrate on nothing, memory power was very poor,had domestic quarrels everyday...on this background I started chanting Mritunjaya mantra. I was impressed by the quick results that my mental calamity was fade away within 3 days. At the same time I experienced the Kundalini awakening which was understood sometime later.

After few months I started worshipping Lord Shiva and Durga Ma and automatically I moved to tantric worship with rituals. By today, most of the tantric mantras that require Siddhis work for me without it.

I believe that there is another world around us that directly influences our worldly matters, maybe Devas, Spirits, Grahas and much more ..never we can judge by our five senses and far beyond the scientific principles.

I have seen great results from reciting the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra. It has helped me overcome the pressures of a tiresome court case and opened the door to amicable settlement. It seems to remove afflictions on Moon; Venus; Sun; Mars while strengthening Jupiter & Saturn. I got quick results by reciting it in the Braahma muhurta.

super cosmic rays do exist in nature. The pleasure and pain is on account of the planets. If we see our surroundings then the people who do not have money or two time meals are more happy contented & blissful than the rich people. Money is just a medium of exchange, materials are made by nature bcoz we are also the part of nature., but the super cosmic race, power of concentration & will power do change the level of existence

Dear Pocean,

Om Namah Sivaya is an extremely powerful & effective mantra for all seasons and reasons.

For general prosperity, positivity, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama is highly recommended, or its extremely simplified version, chanting the name of SriRama. Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi are the embodiment of prosperity, happiness, wealth, family etc.

The two have slightly different contexts.

And, I belong to the old school, where ladies are not supposed to chant Gayatri Mantra. Popular television channels challenged and changed the situation, but my recommendation would not be to chant this at all.

Even I have heard that women are not supposed to chant Gayatri Mantra. This mantra is chanted for seeking guidance in right direction by chanting the name of the supreme as OM and by meditating upon the light emitted by stars (Sun).
What is the reason behind this gender difference?
