Hi - I am currently having a dull period in my IT career since I am not getting any projects. I need to get a project soon(before Jan 23'13).Otherwise I will be asked to go back to india or resign.If I go back it is tough to come back to US & also affects my growth.
I want to stay in US for long term with same company and dont want to resign and try outside at least for now. I am now trying to network with people within company to get projects.
I am quite worried.Kindly advise when i am likely to get project & what I need to do.

BIG PICTURE:-
Your 10th lord (lord of career house) is exalted= very good. Your 11th house of gains has Rahu in it with venus as lord= very very good.
You are currently undergoign a Mercury bhukthi with Rahu mahadasha. Problem is that Mercury is conjunct with ketu (headless planet, blocking energy). So, that's difficult.
Moreover, it looks like your 10th lord in dasamsa (d-10) is retrograde and conjunct with Saturn. So, nothing is going to come easily to you in terms of career progress. You'll have to work very hard to gain every bit of success, but jupiter being the 10th lord, success is almost certain.
RIGHT NOW-
If you ask me, right now is a difficult time to gain career progress for 2 reasons. Saturn is aspecting your 10th house, and it tends to delay progress until you are atleast 30 (generally 32-35 is the beginning of success and gains). Secondly, Ketu is transiting in your natal 10th house; it's not fully in power there yet, but it will be in a couple of days. Ketu will stay there for another year. Now, because your Mars is exalted and strong, the transit of Mars itself to that house will bring about a Job; also, sometimes the aspect of Mars brings a job. Because Mars has a fourth aspect on Aries from Capricorn, where it is currently situated, there is a slight possibility of getting a job.
Really pray to mars and Jupiter sincerely. Also pray to lord Shiva by going, if you can, to a temple on Saturday and pouring milk on a shiva lingam.

Many members in this forum will say that Rahu is exalted, So you will have good rahu maha dasha . I tend to disagree because more or less the chart you have is very much similar to mine. I have faced Rahu Maha Dasha and i am in the last phase of Rahu Maha dasha , so i can say that Rahu is troublesome . Better pray Lord Kala Bhairav to get reprieve from Rahu.
