My sister's Brother-in-law is an electrical engineer. He did not want to move to IT what so ever.
He was working for a firm that is related to his major though the job was paying him less than what he would have made had he been working for an IT firm.

This morning I got to know that he switched his job (still related to his major and not IT), his salary increased and his firm is sending him to US for training for the first 2 months.
He never planned on or had a lot of interest in coming to US.

He has benefic Rahu in 10th.
His Rahu, Ketu, Saturn and Mars are exalted and Jupiter is in Own House.
And he is running Rahu MD

It explains why. Rahu-Venus is usually good for materialistic gains. His Rahu is very well-placed in 10th house. His Jupiter is very benefic, placed in 5th in own house and aspecting his Lagna, thus contributing to his overall growth and bringing good fortune. His Ketu gves him domestic comforts. Rahu, Venus and Jupiter - all are karakas for foreign travel and stay and in his case, Rahu is very benefic.

In current transit, Moon sign Capricorn is giving him the very benefic effect of exalted Saturn the Rashi Lord + Rahu in 10th house.

So, his overall powerful chart and benefic Mahadasha combination have overtaken the current transit of Rahu in Sandhi.

This also shows that Leo Ascendant people will benefit from current transit if their chart and Mahadasha combination are good.

His Rahu Mahadasha and after this, Jupiter mahadasha will take him to great heights in his career and will bring him prosperity in all areas of life - provided Saturn is not malefic in his chart.

That's a very valid question.

Actually, not much is known about Rahu-Ketu's Sandhi transit - much less about Ketu than about Rahu.

Yes, Ketu too should cause problems in Aries while in Sandhi.

If we get feedbacks, we can see if we can relate them to Rahu-Ketu in Libra-Aries Sandhi.

1) In particular, give feedbacks about whether your problems have increased or whether you are running a good time after or since 5th of Dec 2012.

2) Moreover, do you see a difference or no difference in your experiences between -

5th Dec-23rd Dec and

23rd Dec-11th of Jan?

3) If you can provide birth details along with feedbacks, it would be best.

Dear Saindhavi,
Libra is now hosting a conjunction between Rahu and Shani.

I am myself starting Rahu AD from January in Shani's MD. Asc and Moon-sign both is Aquarius.
Both Rahu and Shani are in 9th H as per transit.

What can I expect? Will this be a year for marriage?

if the chart gives the result of lagna with respect to rahu transit..then it should give the same for shani as well as jupiter transits..
if that is the case then the second phase of my sadhe saati is on..as it is in the lagna now.
given this fact that how is the impact of shani when it goes through natal deb rahu and deb moon ?

one feedback on how jupiter transit in taurus impacted me ( being the 8th house)

12 years back my father died during the jupiter transit and i got the ancestral property in my name
after 12 years i sold it during july '12
guess it is the movement of jupiter in 8th where natal ketu is which trugeers this
am i right in judging that ?

one more query - how is transit affect seen in d-9 and d-10 ?

Feedback:

Apparently both the Sandhis have worked out rather well for me.. Have been facing tough times in all spheres of life from past 2yrs but some promise seen in last month for perhaps an opening to good times..

But i believe it has something to do with LL Mars exalted in transit and lagna in 10th house with MD lord joining Mars.. Sandhis being poistive was somewhat of a surprise for me..

But i would agree whatever little good i can see has potential but has delays in materializing..May be a sandhi effect..

As for the difference in two sandhis Libra Sandhi has seen social life being more active than usual which i personally deem good... On professional front may be a span too small to judge.. No stark difference.

This feedback is mostly on professional front.. Personal life sadly displaying non-existent quality.. May be this will change (dunno for the good or bad) as 7th house will be very very active in near future.. Natal 7th house has Sun (Neecha but wid support from venus and mars) Venus in 7th (Swakshetra) and Mercury (3rd and 6th lord)..

With Ketu over natal moon aspecting 7th and Jupiter from Gemini(from july 13) aspecting Libra cant expect a non-existent scenario..Also Sun-Jupiter starting mid March..

This is not the 2nd phase of your sadhe sati, but the 1st phase of your sadhe sati. This phase will be good. The 2nd phase may be problematic.

Jupiter-Ketu may be the reason for sale of property.

Transits are seen primarily from Rashi chart, but in some cases they give the effect in Lagna chart. You can relate transits to Lagna chart, Mahadasha, Navansha and Dashamansha combinations, but you don't see transits in Navansha and Dashamansha.

The chart is the same, but Mahadasha table is different. Sun is in 7th, not in 8th and not in Sandhi.

Yes, you are running Sun-Rahu and unless you want to travel abroad, Rahu would be alright for you.

Your 7th house has received Neech Bhang from Mercury and Venus - the latter causes Malavya Mahapurusha Yoga there, while Mars is causing Ruchaka Mahapurusha Yoga. Sun-Moon axis are enhancing the power of 1-7 and Sun receives aspect from Jupiter.

Yesterday was a quite memorable day for me. Everyone appreciated my efforts in clearing the paper in first attempt which is quite rare. I was asked to give a speech and felt great when people shook my hands and congratulated me. This reminds me of the day in June 2008 when I was invited by an institute to give a guest lecture to a group of around 50 students. I was garlanded by a girl and a tika on my forehead before giving a speech . It really feels great.

Details -

Left advanced University research halfway to do travel business. Making enough money to lead a good lifestyle, but nothing exceptional. Working mostly with foreigners.

Trying to use Astrology as well, though not the traditional variety - suggests crystals and meditation rather than mantras as remedies.

Never got married.

Travels continuously.

Scorpio Rahu in 2nd and Virgo Saturn in 12th didn't seem to have any adverse effect on him, though no great advancement in fortunes either.

Not leading a celebrity or powerful life in any way. Is seen as a less than successful person by his peers, though he thinks he is satisfied with his life.

So far, current transit related to Libra doesn't seem to have much effect on him either - in money, profession, personal life etc.

His rajayogakarak, Saturn, is debiliated. Could that be the reason that he is not that much successful? Looks not being good makes sense--Saturn is aspecting ascendant. Not marrying makes sense--Saturn is debiliated in the 7th house. What planetary period is he running now?
