For the record - Mercury is NOT exalted. Virgo is where Mercury has its Exaltation, Moolatrikona AND swakshetra. So, mercury anywhere in Virgo does not make it exalted.

Mercury is exalted at 15 deg in Virgo. 16-20 is Moola Trikona and 20-30 is Swakshetra.

Importantly, at 15 deg, Mercury is in Hasta NK, which is owned by his Daddy. At 3 deg as in Tiwari's case, Mercury is in UP Nk, owned by SUN, which while still good, is not the same.

Thanks, I liked the bit on mercury -- that it can justify almost anything. But I still don't understand how debilitated eleventh lord would give all that, especially when it is completely eclipsed by ketu. Shouldn't it be opposite? Or is it some other planet, for instance, Jupiter in its own house in D1 and in exaltation in D9 in second house that has rescued the situation?

Where is the debilitation? It's almost canceled due to exalted Ketu- Nicha Bhanga Raja Yoga. You are only experiencing a very mild debilitation nothing like what other people would experience. Also it is important to remember- the debilitation itself does not give bad results, you have to look at how strong the Nakshatra lord is- Anuradha's Lord Saturn is exalted (20.3°) in Vishaka -this happens once every 30 years so consider yourself incredibly lucky.

Dear members , just like to say something .

my mother has Mo and Ke in 5th H in Pisces . Her overall life is very unsatisfactory with very bad married life but she just knows everything that is coming in future for her and our family . She has very very deep faith in god and some supernatural force/god just tells her whenever something significant good or bad will happen to our family . She never told this to anybody , just kept this to herself , only once when i was very very upset about something she told me what will happen . Afterwards i came to know about her ability . But even i never spoke of this to anybody because i thought that people will think that she is mad and also mocked her a few times for this . Only after reading this thread i am talking about it for the first time .

She has no knowledge of astrology

1. She told me that before her marriage she knew that the result of the marriage will bring her only sorrow .
2. She knew in which yr her sister and her brother will get married .
3 She told me that i will never be a doctor ( i wanted to be a doctor )
4. She told me two yrs earlier when will i get into engineering .
5. She told me i will never get job in engineering field .
6. In 8th june 2012 , in the morning she was crying in her room knowing everything beforehand and our pet dog died in about a few hrs after . Both me and my mother love our dog very much .

Thanks. Your mother shares her birth date with my dad and birth year with my mother! I will leave the chart analysis for someone knowledgeable. But her navmansa has ketu and rahu in 1/7 axis. Both her rashi and navmasha asc are same: scorpio. In her lagna chart sun is in eighth and saturn in second. Both aspect each other, I think, in an unfriendly way. Jupiter, the karak of husband is in 12th in tula and in navmansha it occupies the eigth, again a dushtasthana.

But in any case, as others pointed out in the thread, moon with ketu in a water rashi, especially meen would give strong and intense intuitive powers -- or instincts, as I like to think.

I am sorry to hear about your mother and your situation. I really have no knowledge of astrology to analyze charts or comment on big topics like longevity. Besides, I feel predicting life-span of someone is a bit complex, both in terms of astrology and life in general. The person whose chart is with Mo-Ke combo is intuitive definitely but his lagna is at edge ie less than 1 degree so not going to post his details.

Yes, possible. But must be other things too that do this. I have moon in scorpio with ketu in anuradha nakshatra; saturn is well-placed in the chart. I do feel restless, but since moon is in such a secretive sign, I manage to hide it really well. On the outside no one would even guess (except a few: maybe the ones who have their moons in watery signs) that I was about to have a heart attack.

I have also noticed that I bond really well with people who have moon-ketu combo, especially in scorpio and cancer. They become my friends. And I almost immediately feel at home with people who have moon in pisces.

Where do you run into these "some" ? And, all 30 deg of Scorp is not debilitation, as I have told you many many times. Just 3 deg in Vishaka. And then, it does not render Moon weak or anything like that.

Actually some softwares show my ketu in 11th house. So I am still not sure if I have moon + ketu conjuction in my chart.
