If I am not wrong, when a person is doing pg, he works as a resident in some hospital, so it can mean that, and as you said, it can indirectly mean, he will get chance to do his pg. It is very difficult to say in which subject he will do pg.

One thing I fail to understand is how he did studies in MBBS when 5th house of studies is not connected with 6th house. To me, it looks he will do MBA later on.

Please see the exchange of Mars[12L, 5L] and Venus[11L and 6L]. So indirectly a connection between 6L and 5L. If I take his time of birth as 10.25.30, the Dasha on 3rd December, 2012 will be Rahu-Mercury-Venus, a perfect time to clear the exam[ A combination for fight back]. Rahu cannot be Ak, just leave Rahu and then see the planet with highest degrees. regard

I am still learning about the charakarakas and I would like to know why Rahu cannot be the AK. Is it because he is not a planet and he does not have any character on its own, but rather impersonates the lord of the house where he sits or who he sits with?

Also, why does JHora show Rahu as AK?

Allow me to write: OCD Obsessive compulsive disorder is, as the name suggests, a condition where a person is bound by his compulsion to act on a fixed idea. Like you must have seen people washing their hands again and again thinking hands are still dirty, or checking many times if the door is locked properly from inside. They know that door is locked yet they visit door many times to confirm. Interestingly they are the first people to complain about it to doctor. they invariable know about it and sometimes will tell their hosts to excuse them to visit washroom as they have OCD. Also these are intelligent people, morons never show OCD.

OCD is a disorder in which a person is obsessed upto the extent of getting something that he can go upto any limits...

It is very common in females who are housewives, one of my aunt is so obsessed with cleaning that she washs her hand after each bite that she takes....i have also heard similar stories for many housewives from my friends. 3 yrs back one guy from IITD killed his gf because of some reason, he was suffering from OCD...This news kept flashing in the TV channel whole day....

Rahu is definitely weak there but final outcome will depend on where the depositor is placed.

I wonder what is the cause for it? Maybe Rahu is an obsessive planet and His influence on moon or 5th house can cause it. I will try to find out if I am correct in my assessment.

Actually, Rahu gives general results based on its depositor but I think we must not forget that Rahu is a malefic planet i.e. it also gives hindrances in His period. Further, transiting Rahu over natal rahu and the current malefic antardashas. Also as you correctly said Lord Saturn in 12th house.

Lord Mars is the Lord of 4th and 9th house in own sign. He rules home, property, mother and 9th house of spirituality. I think you have become too much spiritual these days.

My brother had this problem (door locking) but it got cured automatically after he got married.
His problem was not very severe though, one thing i have noticed he was introvert person. He was also very brainy.

My mother in law has this problem, she is obsessed with cleaning,not only washing hands, she is obsessed upto the extent that whole 365 days in a yr she can spend in cleaning and nothing else. Her problem is very severe and her ego is also attached with it. She is also a lonely person. And my husband says she is intelligent.

One of my friend's aunt is obsessed with cooking gas cylinders ....she has 10 connections...and even then she is scared if gas is finished what will happen?

I think this obsession when it is in positive direction it can make you achieve impossible...but if destructive...it is very bad.

yup , i am bengali .

actually when somebody gets frustrated or depressed due to some reason for long long time with no ray of hope and no change in that condition , then he wants to get rid of that frustration by doing something else repetitively , one of the most common symtoms is washing hands .


since i have already made a fool of myself by mentioning about my mental condition , here are a few funny facts -

my mother told my father to buy me a computer - that might divert my mind and my problem will be little bit controlled . my father without telling me took me to a phychiatrist and if i dont agree to go , he did not tell me about it . when i met that doctor , he was in normal dress and my father took him to his home . I was just about to tell him what configuration do i need for my computer - that doctor look at me and with an evil smile on his face , said "your girl friend must have left you and thus you lost your mind , isn't and your father was brave enough to bring you to me just in time so that i can stop you before you harm yourself ( commit suicide )"

another thing is that during early days , it took me 40 mins to wash my hands before every meals and i needed a soap every 3rd day and even the grocery shop owner asked my mother , why do i buy soaps so regularly , do i have any mental problem ?

Hi Aseem aka deeps,

I might have OCD. My chart may help you. I have also habit of washing hands before going to eat any food. If i dont do it, it feels me bad. Also i check the doors and lights many times and confirm it regularly whenever i shut my shop or office.

I didn’t have any problem of locking doors 2 months back when my parents were sleeping in the room next to mine. But now after they have shifted to another very big room, leaving these two rooms to me, I have got into this bad habit of checking several times whether the doors are locked or not. A few weeks back a thief was seen very near to the window of one of the rooms, where I am staying, so you can understand that it’s more out of fear than OCD in my case. Anyway, I will get over this feeling of insecurity today. It’s not that compulsive actually in my case.
