I have just been reading about my young daughter's chart and the outlook is just so scary. I know my half knowledge is very dangerous given that I am only seeing the bad parts.
Isn't there anything in this chart that can help her at all? All the planets seems to be placed in the worst houses (6, 8 and 12)

Madam dont worry - i am copying one matter from one book ok - you please read. -
among trika houses the 12th is considered the least malefic. in fact it is thought to be impressionable neutral the 6th is moderately malefic because it is also a Upachaya house. 8th is however deadliest. 12th is materialistic loss which can always be reconstructed. 6th house indicates physical diseases and troubles from enemies - losses that can be reconstructed by adequate measures. however 8th house indicates loss of ones existence that cant be reconstructed again. but - no house should be considered totally bad - 6th is good to achieve victory over evil forces and desires 8th is important for longevity deep research and awakening the Kundalini - also Moksha - and foreign travels - under favorable circumstances all houses are capable of giving auspicious results.

only i am worrying - Chandra - association with Rahu Shani Kuja. but chandra exalted no - so good. then see - chandra is 2 degree - all are far away. so that is also good - still effect of malefics will be there. that is danger. other wise horoscope is good. dont worry madam.

You really shouldn't jump to conclusion. Venus William has most of her planets in 12th, Amitabh Bachan has most planets in 8th, and Mel Gibson has many planets in the 6th house. This did not stop them from reaching great heights.
Also I have seen two chart of Dhanu lagna born in 1978 (so with an exalted LL in 8th), their life only improved with time. Though both wear slightly chubby kids, they both grew out of that and have a very good adult life (BTW, they are married to each other).
I really wouldn't worry about your daughter.
