I have already told you Rahu along with Mercury will bring your marriage. Rahu periods will always bring relationships to you.

It is not because of Rahu being 7th - it's because Rahu is exalted in 7th.

Mars aspect on 7th and on Rahu is decreasing the power of Rahu to give you marriage - as I had explained once. Mars is good for your Lagna and for aspects on 4th and 8th houses, but not for 7th house - though Rahu is countering Mars aspect to a large extent.

Since Mars rules your 5th house, it basically means your love affairs will delay your marriage - till you meet a person in one of the Rahu periods or transits whom you will marry. You may meet this person in an arranged or love marriage situation, but this will not be a regular, conventional marriage. There will be something unconventional about it. But it will be benefic for you - only Mars periods and transits will bring conflicts and problems in your marriage.

5th house also signifies children. So, after marriage, most of the conflicts in your marriage may be because of children - especially in Mars periods and transits.

Further, 5th house is for intellect and Mars is in your Lagna. Hence, it can mean that because of your anger, judgments and decisions you may encounter problems in relationships or in marriage.

This is different from a situation where Mars aspects a malefic Rahu in 7th, which is Mars' own or friend's house such as Scorpio or Leo (in case of Taurus and Aquarius Ascendants for example).

In such cases, Rahu is malefic in 7th and trying to block marriage, while Mars aspect on 7th and on Rahu decreases the power of Rahu to spoil marriage prospects. In such cases, Mars gives marriage, reducing the malefic power of Rahu in 7th.

In your case, Rahu is benefic for 7th and Mars is malefic for 7th.

As I had told you once, if Rahu hadn't been in 7th, you would have been a Mangalik.

If we combine house placement with zodiac sign, we understand why Mars aspect on Rahu in 7th is benefic in one case and malefic in another case and why 7th Rahu is benefic in one case and malefic in another case.

There will be conflicts in relationships in both cases - only in one case the reason for conflicts is Mars - as in your chart - while in another case the reason for conflicts is Rahu.

It is important to understand these equations clearly while reading charts.

We can't have blanket explanations for Rahu in 7th or Mars aspecting 7th for all such cases.

It also appears that the delays in these results have been not because of Saturn malefic in Libra, or because of malefic Rahu-Ketu axis, as have been argued by some of our friends here, but because of combustion of Saturn in Libra, coupled with debilitation of Libra by Sun, as I had argued earlier. Now Saturn has gained enough energy to give strong effects of Libra. Libra seems to be getting Neecha Bhanga now.

This might well turn out to be the longest thread in LOVA!
I have dhanur lagna and running mahadasha of lagnesh Guru
placed in 6th. Antardasha of 8th lord chandra in makara. Rahu in 11th in libra in Swati.

Since the past 2 days I am getting migraine headache and virtually confined to my bed. Otherwise nothing worthwhile to report reg the past month or so.

However I lost my elder sister at a tender age in June 1994. From older posts I guess Rahu was transiting libra then. Also my rahu dasha was running.

Do you have any suggestions for me? Should I warn my paternal uncle/aunt also to be a bit cateful in travels etc?

Yes you are right that Rahu has to bring relations to me as He is exalted in 7th house of relationships. We also need to consider the 11th house as this house is also the house of groups and senior friends/ siblings. So I always have made all kinds of friends in their periods besides Rahu.

Yes you are right about my argument and conflicts nature. I am also very physical in real life. I also love physical figths a lot. As a result suffered injuries also. I can't control this urge but I simply love fighting. But the tendency to fight has come down since the past few years as I was advised by doctors. When I am angry, I really become like a Arab Sheikh- kat ke rakh doonga as Basab bhai told me once. Hahahahahahaha. I am very hard on those who do wrong to me. SHowing anger is actually good for me and I can't give up this tendency.

Yes you are right about the conflicts with marriage partner is correct as foretold by Nadi astrologer. They have predicted problems in marriage due to some disease suffering by her and this will cause fightings between us. It will be anytime between 32 to 35. They also predicted that despite this, there will be a relief due to God's grace. They have not mentioned any problems with her and children after that except for her health problems in early 40s. That's all.

Yes I am very manglik both from Lagna and Moon chart. But I consider it to be a blessing as I gets lots of Martian energy due to this. I love running up to the 8th floor in an apartment without taking any lift. I am sad to see that children gets tired so easily by 2nd floor and they normally take lift. This martian energy give me very quick walking and extra energy to work on anything.

No, Rahu in Libra, especially in Swati is benefic. There must have been some affliction in her own chart. Rahu will give you financial gains. Rahu's Libra transit should be good for you.

Exalted Saturn should again give you financial benefit, though its adverse aspect on Lagna may cause migraine, anxieties, stress etc.It does seem that Saturn has regained enough energy after complete combustion in past 2 days or so.

Well, the only cure for migraine is not to get stressed and when it increases, black out all lights and go to sleep till it subsides.

Well, we both have Mars influence on Lagna, but chronic asthma has made me a slow walker and not capable of engaging in any vigorous energetic activity. Running up the stairs to the 8th floor is a dream I can never realise in this life. I am breathless by the time I reach the 2nd floor, climbing slowly.

But Mars makes me a good fighter in life's situations and also an energetic planner of life's activities - what I have lost in physical activity, has been compensated for in mental processes.

But it was the influence of Mars on Lagna that made me travel across the Himalayas to quite high altitudes, despite my asthma - eventhough everytime I came back from my trips I fell ill - only a Mars-influenced person can do this!

Since I have the same Martian influence on Lagna, I can understand your anger. Your ruler Jupiter will eventually calm you down, especially in his Mahadasha.

You are not a Mangalik in the sense that you don't have to match charts for Mangalik Yoga for marriage, as Rahu has countered your Mangalik yoga. But you need to be aware of Mars influence on your 7th house during Mars periods.

Yeah it looks so. I just asked as I had the experience of living with a father' guru in march 2004. I was running rahu\venus\ sun period. I stayed at his ashram for about 10 days due to some work in the city. It was quite an enlightening in his presence. We used to walk everyday after dinner and he would answer my annoying queries without showing any signs of tiredness. The ashram was big and it was very serene. i Iiked the atmosphere very much. i have plans to buy a kuti in an ashram in mountain after some years. It will be a perfect getaway. Let me see where destiny takes me.

Your Lagna is not that strong in your chart and that's why health problems. Further 11th lord in 6th house woth Saturn, the planet of retrictions which gives long term health problems and delay in recovery and also restrictions in gains and incomes..

Talking of kutis in mountains and Goa, I plan to have a summer resort in the Himalayas and a winter resort in Goa and another home by the sea in the US - if I can have the money - but not for the spiritual purpose. For all the role of Jupiter etc in my chart, I am ruled by Venus!

Saturn actually gives best results in 6th house - if only it's not combust. The problem in my chart is that Saturn's combustion in 6th house has enhanced the problems of 6th house. If only it was not combust, it would have controlled the negative effects of 6th house. And yes, an afflicted Lagna can cause illnesses, though Venus protects my Lagna by 7th aspect and because of this, asthma is the only health problem I have. I never fall ill otherwise - not even with viral.

As for you meeting your father's Guru, Rahu's period is not ideal for meeting Gurus, especially not if you are also running Venus at the same time. So I don't think he will be your spiritual Guru. You may have got impressed by him for a short while, but you'll not accept him as your spiritual Guru. Your chart in any case doesn't allow you to follow anyone as I said.

Yes, this is also the reason I am showing these charts. See also the 1st chart of Sagittarius Lagna with Kala Sarpa Dosha, who got promotion in Rahu-Saturn-Rahu.

The only feature I can see in this last person's chart with Ketu exalted in Lagna, that may have contributed to a wait for promotion is that he has a slight Kemadrum Yoga, although Moon's exaltation in Vipareet Raja Yoga and the two Mahapurusha Yogas in Kendra counter it effectively and he does have a lot of money.

As for having super-success, yes this last chart person has attained high level success at a young age - even in mid-late 40s he has been the policy maker for the World Bank and on advisory committees for the Government of India etc.

As far as I know, he doesn't have any problems in life. He has quite a smooth life.

But he doesn't have as many publications as the first chart person has. The first person is more of a well-known scholar in his own field, while this last person is more of a policy-advisor rather than a research-scholar in his own field, although both hold prestigious academic positions.

In their own ways, they both are super-successes.

These charts show that we should not get too obsessed with Astrology. We should take rational decisions and try to advance ourselves as much as possible, regardless of our charts, Mahadasha running and transits.

Being aware of good and bad aspects of our charts is good, but we should not get obsessed by them.

(-) Since yesterday I am have painful toothache. It had disappeared for some days in between but again re-surfaced. Last night I couldn't sleep.
(+)Am on an extreme diet - only having bananas, coffee/tea and water. Lost already around 5 kilos. BP almost normal (it's now on the borderline normal).
