I don't know how to determine whether my Sun is weak. I listen to 'Aditya Hridayam' stotra whenever I can, should do it more regularly, because I read somewhere that it helps with certain health problems.

1) What if Saturn is in 11th but retrograde?

2) What if Sat-Jup conjunction is in 8th house, for Aquarius lagna?

Well malefics are welcome in 11th house. So retrograde will do good after some delays.

well not actually good combination if they are in 8th house which can mean setback after gains. But money house can be strong and health can be poor.

Yes Anuradha, in fact I have to avoid cold foods and drinks all the time, even in the summer, because I get cough very easily. I was hospitalised with pleurisy in April 2005, during Mercury-Ketu dasha. And have been told by the doctors to take care of my lungs.
