What we see nowadays is people
Respected K N Rao ji Saheb said in one book -
I often sit down and ask myself questions like the following -
Parashara has given 55 dashas and jaimini 44 according to P.S.Shasty who i rate as best living astrologer of our decades. he was trained in vedas from childhood and can speak extempore in sanskrit for 4 hours without notes. he is double pHd and was head of department english in nagpur university. yet he has modesty to say in his book of astrology -
like that respected K N Rao Ji has said. Dont talk like this about Gurus. you know ah - which guru is good and which guru is -so called guru? you are bigger than all gurus ah? you know all Guru - and so called gurus in the world ah? are you judge? who are you to judge who learned what under whom? tell?

I have been posting in many threads... Astrology is a branch of our ancient vedas. Vedas have to be learnt under a well respected/ read Guru. Dhanvantri ( study of medicine) is also part of our ancient Veda system viz Ayurveda.
Would any person in the world by reading from medical books can practice medicine ( whether Allopathy, Homeopathy or Ayurvedia). Medicine has to be learnt under the guidance of Guru or Gurus in institutions. If someone practices Dhanvantri without guidance or certificate from institution what that person is called as... quacks.
Similarly, astrology also has to be learnt from under supervision of Guru. Guru gives his/her student lots of exercises/teachings in astrology for the student to exercise that teachings in daily today predictions. Someone in another post, said learning from Guru and predicting the natal chart in two days time... what is it.... A guru will give all teachings to students... till the students successfully attains the goal in astrology.
