I request esteemed members of this board explorings and Saindhaviji and other suggest any good on my Rahu MD and horoscope.

I still have 3 years of rahu MD left and I already feel fed up of life. Even after giving up on most dreams of my life I cannot even get any peace leave happiness.
How do you see the last 3 years of my rahu MD and is there anything that will improve my situation in this Dasha and any good in the next Dasha?

My Rahu Mahadasha started in Feb 1998 1998-2003: I passed my Engineering first class but then thus started the years which are almost like lost time.
Nothing really happened - no job - rejected due to my nervous disposition at the only campus interview I got,
insults at home of being useless for any work and not co-operating to get married to whatever matches my Mom brought.
My Dad happily lived unaffected far from us all - refused to support my going abroad in any way.

2003 onwards I was fed up and was almost like - lets be done with getting married for my Mom's sake.
Then I got a job in Jul 2003 by a sudden casual aquaintance - not a good one but even that job I was refused previously saying I was overqualified and now I was put up with a bunch of freshers.
This job was terrible in many ways as it required me to interact with people hugely and I had a worst manager. But today even before my Rahu MD ends I know that it shaped me hugely with respect to my self confidence. Due to the whole pressures /troubles with boss and no future I could see with huge fear I quit this job in Oct/Nov 2004 .
Again was not getting job due to my huge 5 missing years on resume - I was not confident to fake it. In fact I got my job in IT finally when I got through the interview but later told them the truth . They started me off then as a trainee at a low pay but it worked out fine.

Though astrologers said my chart had surefire stint abroad I never could go. First time it was cancelled a few days before and then in Dec2007 out of the blue I had a epileptic fit - diagnosed as due to tapeworm in brain - (funnily I am mostly vegetarian since childhood except occasional fish - in a non veg family).
I recovered fine as it was one small one as per doctor - but what it did was - I had to refuse the next offer of going abroad I got exactly after this episode.
So I moved to new job in Apr 2008 and well this job I am holding since - it has no scope of going abroad.

Meanwhile I made peace with the fact that I may never recover from the setback to my career - or get married and even be happy - was just hoping to have a peaceful life. But well looks like even that is not to be.

Since 2009 when my Dad retired and came back home our troubles multiplied. My parents differences were exploited by relatives and it kept on growing.
I was almost fed up and was hoping to move out now that job seemed secure and I had some savings but then in Feb 2012 the worst started .
My father was hospitalized unconscious with kidney failure and needs dialysis for life.
By June 2012 he slowly recovered as we took care and then again his sister visited and he became psychotic and paranoid about money
(even though really he is relatively quite secure- a decent pension + govt pays much health cost) held huge grudges against my mother and
started harming her physically ( banged her head bloodily). None of the relatives help us as you cannot speak against a sick man
and support his wife in India - whatever he does . My uncle managed to once make him talk to a psychatrist and they were clear
he was paranoid about wife/children/Doctors - as if they all were out to get him - refuses any money at all to my Mom and scolds us when we give her.
Most other stuff he manages slowly so its not like we say he is totally mentally incapacitated.
As it is he has no social life since he retired and came back. He suspects and criticizes everyone except his sister in village.

The whole thing is a mess - My whole career and life is stuck as we live in perpetual fear of what will happen in our own house - In my house to be specific.
I moved into the house in Oct/Nov 2006 bought in 2005 - part my dad's savings and partly my loan.

The last years of rahu dasha - some say are worst and some say I have a vargottam moon / yogakaraka Mars and a strong sun so the last 3 should be good. But as of now it all looks scary and hopeless. I seem to have been cursed through my very own set of parents as much as I can deal with all else outside .Any help will be appreciated.

I do not plan but end up visiting holy places by chance
(went to haridwar in june 2011 / went to Anjeynadri temple in hampi in aug 2012 even though we were too tired and were almost skipping it )
- planning to go to even nearby temples does not work. Had gone to KalaHasti once in 2004
Initial years my mother made me wear many stones emerald/ gomedh etc but then no good and I syopped. I now wear a small 1.5 carat yellow sapphire.I keep having minor accidents on the road many times in life.
I do gayatri mantra since some months now - started hanuman chalisa a few months ago. It all makes me feel caged and helpless.

Silpa, i feel sorry for you. You have incredible guts to face all this problems. I can say that Moon and Saturn are in some kind of war . Also Mandi, Gulika are in 2nd house along with Rahu, which makes Rahu Dasha stressful.

Better Pray Lord Shiva to pacify both moon, Saturn and Rahu .

its seems that people born under the nakshatra adhipathis of luminaries (Sun and Moon) are worst affected by notorious Rahu.

Exploring, Sandhavi, et al,

My father suffered heart attack on 3rd-Oct-2012. Is this incident has anything to do with my Rahu dasha? Also in the job front, nothing is going right at this moment. I am doing all the remedies suggested, but still no improvement.

Your father's condition is not because of your Ra MD. However, transits on Oct 3, 2012 in your chart did show that some problems to an elder person in family. LL and 8L, afflicted by malefic Rahu; 9L and 12L aspected by 8L and Rahu which received neechbhanga from 8L, Mars. Sun was in 6H of chronic disease.

Job front things will improve soon.

Gains are away from place of birth.

That was reason of concern. Do you suggest any specific remedies for the upcoming sun bhukti in dec '13. Currently i am doing Gayathri Japa 2 times and reciting adithya Hrudhayam. As per the suggestion from a well known astrologer in Bangalore in April 2012, i have installed a Surya Mandala at home and 12 namaskaras in the morning to the mandala before breakfast.

Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio and its aspect on Sun was fairly weak even after it received neechbhanga on Oct 3, 2012 (as Mars was still in sandhi).

All you need is Maha Mritunjaya Japa (for 10 mins), Aditya Hridyam, and offer water to rising Sun everyday. If you want you can also recite Kunjika Stotra.

2. Kalabhairavashtakam, Ganapathi atharvashisham, Durga suktam, Adhitya Hridhayam, 12 surya namaskaras, 21 times MMM, Nava Naga stotram, 10 times 25th shloka of Soundharya Lahari in the morning
3. Kunjika stotram twice
6. Vishnusahasranamam, Shree suktham, Hanuman chalisa in the evening

Recite any hymns for Ganesh and Saraswati daily, in addition to Hanuman Chalisa. Also Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times, Durga Suktam and Devi Suktam from Rig Veda.

Offer milk to Shiva Linga every Monday.

I am having serious issues, both financially and mentally. And on family front, things are more than serious. I am having quarrels with everyone. Loosing money in trying new ventures and no satisfaction whatsoever.

Though my job is decent paying [around 30k], I am not having a good time at all.

Rahu is the only malefic planet in your chart and you are running Rahu Mahadasha!

Well, you are running Rahu-Jupiter and you will get the effect of a powerful Gaja Kesari Yoga in this period - both Jupiter and moon are very powerful in your 10th house in a Gaja Kesari Yoga.

So, you will not face financial problems.

Rah Mahadasha is notorious for causing unnecessary relationship problems and making the mind turn in wrong direction so that you make wrong decisions in life, for which you pay later.

Your Rahu is malfic in Bhagya and this is what is happening to you.

Karthik's advice is right - Mercury and Venus in 12th, along with Rahu Mahadasha, which is a karaka for foreign travel, will be benefic for you if you go abroad. If you stay near your native place, you may face problems - and loss of money - which is another signification of 12th house, apart from foreign travel.

So, if you don't want to go abroad, at least go a little far from your native place to another city in India itself.

For malefic Rahu, fast every Shukla Paksha Ashtami and pray to Goddess Durga on that day.

But Rahu is also an unconditional giver of marriage, apart from Venus.

So people who get married in Rahu MD or AD also make those decisions under influence of Rahu and it's a wrong decision?
Is that true in case of malefic Rahu or in case of benefic Rahu as well?

There is no point in wasting one's time, energy and emotions over a person who is not coming back. It's better to look for a match that is destined to survive and get on with one's life.

It's really impractical to waste one's life over a relationship that is not happening.

Last weekend we visited Tirumala Blaji temple ( Nov 10, 2012) and also Sri Kalahasthi Temple ( Nov. 11, 2012). Did Rahu- Ketu Pooja at Sri Kalahasti temple. Tirumala visit is a planned one, but Sri Kalahasthi visit was planned during last minute.

We recollected that we also visited Sri Kalahasti Temple on Nov 11, 2003. What a coincidence?
