Feedback: resolved sadness by talking to my husband over the weekend when Mo was in Taurus, he promised he will not say again that I should leave the house, and said he wants to have a baby now , may be Ju in his 5th & my 7th from Mo in transit will help. Went to get car servicing done & fill up gas assuming weekday might be easy, but had to keep going round & round on detours as lot of roads are still blocked, had to wait in line for gas for 20 mins just to realize the car number is even & couldn't get gas due to rule of odd day-odd car number plate. About Obama, I think it's nothing to do with Saturn, but the period of lagna lord in the lagna, which gave him the win. Obama win's was logical due to many factors like killings of Osama and jobs moving out to India, etc. It was clear he would win even if we think from non-astrological point of view.

From a non-astrological POV, Obama's win was very dicey. Had he not redeemed himself and strengthened his position in 3rd debate (2nd was a townhouse format... so cannot say much), it would have been difficult.

The underlined is a strongest criticism and is not a part of his government. Moving jobs to another country may not work in his favor it would be downright detrimental.

His strongest point was not encounter of Bin Laden but that he has a plan and Romney does not. Similarly, ObamaCare is not good for some doctors, hospitals, nurses, as well as healthcare industry however it is simply excellent for poor masses. Romney's has a debilitated Moon and lacks creativity. However, Romney is a business man and knows how to make money and could have helped to strengthened the economy. Another indicator for the same is Wall Street is down by 300 points after Obama's win (nothing to do with Sandy).

So again, non-astrologically, both candidates would have had an equal share in the elections and Obama should not have had a clear win, from non-astrological POV.

Yes indeed it is but if you see there is a loss of 2H (2L, Sa placed 12th to 2H) and 8H (8L, Sun placed in 7H) effects. Furthermore, his 7L, Moon is exalted and receives aspects from Ju, which receives neechbhanga from LL himself.

On Election eve, I would like to share my perspective on Obama's Exalted Saturn in Libra versus Romney's debilitated Venus in Virgo:

President Obama's Ascendant (Lagna) is Capricorn with Lagna Lord (vargottam Saturn) currently exalted in Libra and will remain exalted till Oct 2014. His 10th lord of profession (10L), Venus is currently debilitated in Virgo and continue to do so till Nov 17, 2012. He is currently under the benefic Vimosattari dasa of Lagna Lord Saturn (Saturn-Saturn-Saturn). Lords of all periods: main period (Mahadasha), sub-period (Antardasha), and sub-sub-period (Pratyantar dasha) is Saturn, which is currently exalted. Looking at his divisional chart for profession (D-10), again 9L and 10L, Saturn is currently exalted in 6th house of services for masses. It is said that period of Lagna Lord brings what the Lagna (native) craves... so looks like chart and dasha wise President Obama should get what he wants.

I have always believed in carving out my life by my own efforts and I don't use much of Astrology in my own life.

I never used it till Rahu-Sun, began to take interest in it only from Rahu-Moon and learnt to read charts only in Jupiter Mahadasha.

Even then, I have mostly read other people's charts rather than my own, except in the beginning when I read my own chart. Most of the time, I don't even know which Dasha combination I am running.

During most of Jupiter Mahadasha, I neither used Astrology for myself, nor did any remedies except one Durga Saptashati recital in the beginning. I never felt the need and if ever I face any problems, I try to solve it rationally.

Only since Rahu became malefic in Scorpio last year, I came to LOVA and began to use Astrology excessively - that was because of excessive financial problems I began to face since May last year, with Rahu malefic in 2nd, aspected by Virgo Saturn in 12th. In fact, till Rahu came into Scorpio, 12th Saturn didn't have much effect on me - Saturn being partially combust in my chart.

So, I didn't care about Astrology till May 2011.

Since May 2011 I have used Astrology excessively and have used and also searched for new remedies for myself and for others.

But I always use Astrology for myself only when I am facing severe problems, never because I want to use it for myself. My natural tendency is to be away from all this in my own life and enjoy the pleasures of the world - I am ruled by Venus!

It is always a pressure for me to use Astrology for myself or to follow any remedies in my own life.

But I read charts for others if they want me to read for them.

So, it looks like Rahu's power in Scorpio is becoming less now. That's why I am losing the will to use Astrology in my own life and have completely stopped all remedies.

I think your problems have been purely because of transit - Rahu malefic in Scorpio in 2nd aspected by 12th Saturn in Virgo.

Saturn return is good for you.

Scorpio Rahu has been reinforced in your case by a malefic Rahu in 8th in your chart.

Now, Saturn will come out of combustion on 12th of Nov when some good changes should begin to happen. From 12th of Jan your time should be good.

Dreams Unlimited!

For the past couple of weeks I am having interrupted sleep and dreams particularly of past reminisces:

1) Old classmates and relatives who I am not particularly fond of. In the dreams I found myself trying hard hiding away from them.
2) Going back and meeting people of my ex-work place.
3) Meeting my ex-crushes again.

4) In a war-like situation where someone is threatening me that he will finish off all my resources/people who I trust – I woke up that night palpating. I was the tone of his voice and the afra-tafri situation.

5) Dreaming that I have climbed a tall building to floor/terrace or a mountain top and can’t find the way to come down. Have to crawl down or jump down and I fall…and then I wake up. This is the most common dream I have since so many months.
6) I am flying, a little, elevated from the ground to cover distance quickly - again a common dream that I see often.
7) Running away from something with/without minimum clothes.

8 ) I no longer see any snakes..since sometime now. However, I do see ghosts of people who have died – though this has lessened to some extent.

Never heard of such weird gas rules in any sandy affected areas neither on internet nor on news. By law, you cannot refuse gas or shelter to anyone especially during the time of natural disaster.

Frankly speaking, everything is written on our chart. Everyone has unique destiny and astrology is a science which helps in decoding destiny to a certain extent. Your making efforts by yourself is again refflected in your chart. Just see 3rd House (efforts, courageous) Lord is Exalted which means you are destined to believe in making efforts as your own. Further Mars in lagna shows your active life or never back down spirit and you will hate laziness. Had they not been present, you would have been leading a totally different life.

"Certain extent" because of the lack of the vast experience in astrology. One should be a realised soul with more than solid 20 years of experience in astrology to give 99.99% accurate predictions. And such astrologers are rare.

What we see nowadays is people learning astrology under so-called Gurus within a month and start giving out predictions! They are only making fools of themselves and don't know that one day planets will give them huge shock to them. I am not an astrologer but astrology is my favourite past time hobby. I do astrology as it gives high when I read the accurately the charts of unknown people. At times, one feels disillusioned with astrology and it happens with everyone. I am not trying to prove or disprove Astrology, nor getting into Destiny Vs Freewill debate.

I have always believed in the "Each one to his own idea" theory.

Because you asked, I explained to you that it is not my natural tendency to use Astrology in my own life, unless I am in great trouble. If I have been using it since May last year, it means I have been badly stuck in life.

It may be true that it is because of my 4-10 axis. It may also mean that my Jupiter Mahadasha has been so absolutely trouble-free that I did not need the support of Astrology till may 2011.

I look upon Astrology as a kind of medicine - when you are ill, you take medicines. When you get well, you stop taking medicines till you fall ill again.

In the same way, I use Astrology when I am really stuck in life and can't get out of it on my own efforts. As long as I can fight back, I don't resort to Astrology - Mars in Lagna gives me the courage to fight back against all odds.

When I am out of trouble, I stop using Astrology and also stop using remedies - when you are well, you don't need medicines.

And although nothing has changed in my life so far, after the Durga Saptashati recital in August, I have got this confidence that I can now manage my life on my own. I don't need this medicine of Astrology anymore - till some trouble comes again which I can't fight on my own.

How do you explain my attitude towards life? I have been through huge struggles in life and going through one even now, but the more I struggle, the more I stop bothering about astrology and remedies. It’s natural, people not bothering about astrology and remedies when passing through good times, and starting to depend on them when going through bad times, but in my case, I really don’t bother about what my birth chart says and about doing remedies, even in my tough times!

Saindhavi ji, repeatedly told me that my Rahu is afflicted in my chart, and that is why I am having struggles in my life. She also told me that the dreams of snakes are warnings for me, but that didn’t make me think even for a moment about doing remedies for them. I thought to myself, ‘Let Rahu keep troubling me, I don’t care!’ Honestly speaking, I treat the snakes in my dreams, which Saindhavi ji is calling Rahu, to be ordinary snakes.

I saw a dream of snakes even yesterday, and the funny part is, I saw in my dream that there was a snake in my soul and also in the Super soul in me, which is there in every being, but instead of thinking it to be something worrying, I thought of it logically—Saindhavi ji had told about snakes to me yesterday, and I was reading about super-soul and soul in the book ‘Krishna’, which I have been reading these days, so they both were in my subconscious mind and together came up in my dream in an unique way.

I believe in thinking about every thing logically and practically. Even when I read spiritual books, I try to take the essence of the teachings and use it in a practical way than becoming religious and visiting temples, which is why the path of jnana (knowledge) appeals to me the most in spirituality.

What, according to you, makes me so practical in my thinking? Yes, I am a dreamer, too, a lot of times, but then, otherwise, I am very practical and logical in my thinking. When in a difficult situation, I first forget about God and destiny; instead, thinking of things in a practical way. I think logically of a way out of my situation, than cry to God to help me, or start seeing my chart to know when the transits will become favourable, or bother about remedies. If anyone tells me I will struggle all my life, if I don't do remedies, I will say, "Let me struggle all my life, but even then I won't do remedies!" That's the kind of attitude I keep.

Dreams Unlimited!: My Understandings

= Met an ex-colleague of my last weekend and I avoided him. I never liked him. So this dream has come true. Mumbai is a big city and it's quite difficult to meet people easily.

2) Going back and meeting people of my ex-work place.
= Didn't happen in reality. Although I have dreamt about it more than 3-4 times.

3) Meeting my ex-crushes again.
= Hope (feebly) that never happens again..with all the social networking sites et al.

= Actually it reflects my present situation - with my savings getting reduced, quarrels and uncoorporation and refusal to understand on the part of my parents especially my father. Also, my growing inconfidence to interact with my friends because I don't have a job. Also, that I am unmarried and most of them are married. These are the reasons why I feel insecure/conscious to mix-up with my friends and rather prefer to be alone and lonely.

= Again a comparison between my past and present situation. During my Rahu MD, I reached great heights in my academics and career - surpassed my fellow classmates/colleagues by far. And now the slump. It is difficult for me to come to terms with the new and ongoing low.

= Perhaps this is my aspiration, desire that when/if (I hope I can hope?) my good times start, I can be able to recover the lost ground - career, relationships, confidence, health, etc.

I wonder if someone has cast an evil eye on me? I never believed in all these as I have always been a self-confident guy. But now that I am obviously low on self-confidence, I am beginning to ask if all these can really happen/effect?

And think along realistic lines - you grew in Rahu Mahadasha because you devised worldly wise plans and followed realistic strategies to solve your problems.

You are falling now because you have unrealistic goals and expectations from the job market and instead of devising realistic plans you are spending time worrying about astrology and evil eye.

I understand it is because of the decline in your fortunes. But you should use astrology only as medicine as I said above - it should not become your obsession for day and night.

If you are advised to wear yellow sapphire, wear it and stop worrying about your chart, go out and see what kind of jobs are available and what best job positions you can apply for. If the market is on a downslide, see what kind of compromises you need to make - in terms of perhaps accepting a little lower salary or a different area of work than your prime area - but in return for it gaining some experience that will help you in future.

One has to strategise along realistic, worldly lines to grow in the world. If you get stuck with a fixed notion of what kind of job you want to accept, astrology won't be of much use.

So, you need to use astrology only in a moderate amount rather than getting obsessed with it and use the rest of your time and energy in applying for jobs, appearing for interviews, relating to people and developing realistic strategies for future.

I am a Libra Ascendant running the current transit of Rahu in Scorpio in 2nd house aspected by Jupiter - and I can tell you it hasn't brought me any money.

But since my chart has some good combinations, I have remained afloat. Many in my position would have perished.

There are many Libra Ascendant people who have suffered in this transit.
