Hello Astroboyji,

This note is extend my thanks and also to request you to continue writing such excellent articles.

I recently read your article on Vipreet Raj Yoga - Excellento compilation!

I have heard that VRY - gives gain then fall ; or first fall and then gain. Can you please write an article on how to interpret this sequence. In addition what are the factors that cancel an VRY.

In your article you mention that if the planet that causes the VRY is also the lord of the 5th or 9th house then the VRY is cancelled. But in the same article in one of the examples this principle seems to have failed. How would you explain this.

Looking forward to more articles on VRY and many many other topics from you!!!

Regards,
Positive

Good day Positive,

Many thanks for your kind words. Yes it is true that for a pure V.R.Y. to occur, the Grahas participating in the V.R.Y. should not, also, own a Kendra or a Kona or for that matter any other Bhava other than a dustana. However, we see instances where the V.R.Y. seems to have kicked in, irrespective of the above condition. For a pure V.R.Y. to occur, there must be a "downfall and loss" of the "other party" and success should come after the native owning the V.R.Y. goes through "intense pressure and initial loss".

In the case of the ex chief minister of Karnataka Sadananda Gowda, you will see that the 12th lord Shani is exalted and Retrograde in the 8th Bhava. That is as pure a V.R.Y. that one can possibly get. However no that Shani is also the 11th lord here.

No doubt, Yedurappa's loss was Sadananda Gowda's gain, but the tainted V.R.Y. in Sadananda Gowda's horoscope ensured that the "other party" gathered strength after his initial loss, rallied support, gained strength and managed to dislodge Sadananda Gowda from his Chief ministerial seat. No doubt Sadananda Gowda could not sit on the seat for long, but the point is Sadananda Gowda will always be called as the ex chief minister of Karnataka. Not bad for a man who never even had a outside chance, of ever gaining that title and seat, even in his dreams.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji
