I know I have not been asked to check the chart of Sehwag, but I am writing what I feel about his performance today as it's a temptation that no astrologer (even novices like me) can resist. Here are my thoughts on his chart in regard to today's performance:

He is running the sub-sub period of Mars, which is the 9th lord in the 3rd house of sports, aspecting the 10th house of career. It is excellent for finding success in sports--in his case, cricket. Mars in transit currently is in his 4th house aspecting his 10th house, which is again excellent. Jupiter in the 10th house is good, too. The only botheration is Ketu in the 10th house, on his natal Moon, which can get him unduly stressed, but I don't think it will affect him that much as it has transited quite a distance from his Moon now. His 10th lord, Venus, is in his lagna now in transit, which is terrific! Saturn in the 3rd house exalted is fantastic! Another worry is Moon in the 8th house, which can get him jittery. But then, with all the positives in transits and the sub-sub period also positive, with his 11th lord, Mercury exalted in transit now in 2nd house, even though he may get a bit jittery in the beginning, he will do very well in today's match, I feel.

when you mentioned Gandant for Saturn in Lata's chart, I suddenly remembered - when I generated her chart, I saw her Lagna is in Sandhi. This further complicates the situation. If we correct the time to few minutes earlier, we have to shift the Lagna backwards to Aries, which brings Rahu-Ketu in 1-7, Saturn in 9th and 2nd house having Jupiter and ruled by Venus, 2nd ruler in 5th aspecting 11th house of financial gains and exalted Mercury in 6th with Sun. This makes 6-12 axis quite strong.

In transit, Rahu-Saturn powerful in 7th and Ketu benefic in 1st should be good for her now. you can see this "corrected chart."

Thanks for providing Sehwag's details.

He has an exalted 10th house with Moon, with Saturn aspecting 10th in friendly sign. Saturn also rules 6th house of sports. Rahu is well-placed in 2nd. Mars, the natural signifier of sports aspects 6th in its exaltation house and 9th in its own house.

In current transit, Rahu-Ketu are malefic in 4-10, though Mars has joined Rahu now in 4th. Saturn is exalted in 3rd.

I have not corroborated this with the chart of Indian team or with the chart of India. But I feel he may perform average, though Indian team may do well.

Please do provide your own reading of Sehwag's chart vis-a-vis current transit.

It is possible that Lata Mangeshkar's lagna is Aries, but then, Aries ascendant with Rahu in lagna is not suiting her personality, I feel. Then 9th lord is well placed in the 2nd house, which doesn't explain why her father died early. Saturn in the 9th house may mean that, but then, 9th lord in the 8th house shows it more strongly, I feel.

Venus in the 5th house may have give her artistic inclinations, but Venus in the 4th house aspecting 10th house shows it more strongly, I feel. Then, her 2nd lord of voice exalted, Moon in own sign in 3rd house, which is the house of music, shows more strongly that Taurus ascendant is her correct ascendant.

But again, 10th lord in the 9th house, shows good career for her, which she had had, Jupiter in the 2nd house shows good voice, 3rd lord of music exalted makes sense again, though Saturn as 10th lord still remains in gadanta, and debiliated in the navamsha.

I'm sorry, I am really very sorry.

Her Lagna is in Taurus-Gemini Sandhi. So we need to advance the time a few minutes.

In this case, if we make the chart with 22-55-0 pm, we get Gemini Lagna, Moon in Cancer in 2nd, Venus in 3rd, exalted Lagna Lord Mercury + Sun in Budhaditya Yoga in 4th aspecting friendly house in 10th, Jupiter in 12th and a malefic Saturn in 7th.

Mars-Ketu malefic in 5th have denied her a formal education. Since the onset of Mars and continuation of Rahu Mahadasha, her career has gone into shadow.

Most probably, her father expired in Mercury-Rahu or in some combination of Mercury-Jupiter-Saturn or Rahu.

She is running Rahu-Moon now and will begin Rahu-Mars from December, when Rahu-Ketu axis will shift in transit. Although in transit Rahu-Ketu and Saturn will be benefic for her, Rahu-Mars Mahadasha-Antardasha may temper down the effect of this benefic transit.

I think this satisfies all the details of her life and she has a powerful 4-10 axis.

--thx for posting sehwag's chart...he is running an exalted Jup whihc is 5th and 8th Lord's MD until 2024...and further Jup is in an amsabala of 5 in the dasavarga charts.

--Ketu is also strong in his chartin the Nk of Jupiter.....as is Venus and Moon his chart....Mars is YK.
--lagna lord is weak and shani innimical in first house of sun and weakening the first house as the 6th Lord.
--he started his shani anatara since Jan 2011...and will run until Jul 2013.....and this has been his weakest period of his career.....he had vision and blance and haring problems also, multiple injuries........
--shani transitting over natal Mars and debilitated sun ain't helping him eitehr,
--but inspite of all of it...he hasn' t collpased.......the MD lord is superstrong...and not only keeping him afloat but also going reasonably strong, if not execlent
There will be revival of Sehwag of prime after Jul 2013...He's got some more years left in him

Sandhviji, 29 in 24 balls in a low scoring game is a good performance. He has made more than 22 percent runs is always a good performance. I have already written with my prediction. regards
