Maybe you are right about Rahu being more malefic. Coming to the threads on lova, Deeps thread has created history, by crossing 72 pages, till it got locked. But I agree that Rahu thread is the second longest thread on lova, so all credit to Rahu for that.

Saindhavi ji, let me find my life partner first, then, we will talk about the party. But still as you want to know, let me assure you that there will be non-veg items, definitely in the menu. We Bengali's can't think of a party without non-veg food.

Yes, true Venus will be debilitated in Virgo i.e., 12th from its own sign from around 23rd Oct and Mars will control the power of Rahu in Scorpio from today onwards.

The way I see it - and Explorings can of course give her opinion - This of course means debilitation of Virgo and empowerment of Scorpio houses. Add to this the exalted Libra house now, without Mars affliction.

Scorpio is the own house of Mars and he is bound to give the effect of this house. He will win against Rahu hands down for sure.

Please note - It's not Rahu who will get Neech Bhang and will be powerful. Rahu will be under control of Mars. It's Scorpio house that will get Neech Bhang and will get effect from Mars - its ruler.

So, in the 1st half of October, 2nd half of Nov and 12th of Jan-end of Jan 2013 - there is not much cause for worry for Libra, Aquarius and Cancer Lagna people.

Reason -

Exalted Saturn in Libra creates a Neech Bhang for debilitated Venus i.e., it counters the effects of debilitated Libra Lord Venus.
