Hi all,
I had seen a different way of representation of my chart long ago in a grid format (with the 12 houses on the top horizontally) and planets vertically on the side) on each of my planet’s strength (on a scale of "8") in different/each house. All together (planets and houses) add upto around 365 (overall), I recollect.
For example, if I recollect correctly, my Jupiter gives a score of 4 in around 4-6 houses across a certain (?) period of time.
This grid does not include Rahu-Ketu.
I cannot quite remember the name of the chart/software.
Can anyone throw light of the same and the mathematics/calculations –if you can relate to what I am referring to?

I think you are talking of astavarga strength, where each planet gets a number from 0 to 8 in the house where the planet is placed in the birth rasi chart. So higher the number, stronger is the astavarga strength. So actually there is a specific number of astavarga points for each planet which is distributed in the 12 rasis and when the rasi in which the planet is placed gets a high value, it is considered strong. So all these add to 337, I think, ie if you add the points due to the 7 planets in the 12 houses, it adds to 337. So there you also get points in the 12 houses from lagna, which also helps in finding which house is strong from astavarga points point of view.

Can you please help and have a look at my strong planets in that light?
Also, is it calculated on during birth rashi or current transit of the planets also?
I need to spend more time understanding JHora!

In the rasi chart, uchcha, neecha, swashetra, neecha bhanga and so on
Navamsa strength
Strength in other vargas
Aspects by benefics and malefics on these so called strong or weak planets
Astavarga bala
Vargas
Planet in infancy or old age
Age alertness and mood of planet
planet in rasi sandhi
and so on
So anyway as per astavarga bala, your sun, mars and venus have only 2,1 and 3 points respectively.
