A few years back, someone asked for a list of Yogas and was given a list. The following is a list, from P V R Narasimha Rao which I find particularly good becuase of the following reasons :
(1) It lists the key yogas.
(2) The breaking down into categorisations is not too fine nor too thick.
(3) It incorporates lists from his own book, from B V Raman's book, from BPHS and from PhilaDeepika.
(4) Yogas with minor differences are not stated as different yogas which may confuse the lay person.
(5) Some categorisation you may not find it in the standard list given in web sites or any standard text.
(6) The description given and the results attributed to the Yoga are clear and concise. Not too verbose and yet just the right amount of detail for your pocket reference.
You may have to format it so that it paste nicely onto a Word Document.

Then you have to take account the following :
(1) Some Yogas like Raja Yoga which involves trinal and kendra lords are powerful per se provided there is no cancellation of Raja Yogas. There are also other Yogas which are powerful by definition liike dispositor of ruler of Ascendant must be in its own sign etc.
When the Yoga is not the powerful kind by definition per se the following factors must be considered :
(2) Are the planets in its own signs?
(3) Are the planets in good houses (Bhavas) and/or angular houses? Of course certain Yogas require planets to be in Dusthana - you have to see the context.
(4) Do all the different Yogas speak the same result or does one result contradict another? The latter points to less powerful Yogas all round.
(5) Is there a planet that is participating in two or more powerful Yogas? Then that planet becomes a focal point.
(6) Are the planets participating in a Yoga with the Ascendant, Sun, Moon or is it a temporal significator like the Atmakaraka or Atmayakaraka? Also if the Yoga is a Dhana Yoga is the planet a Darakaraka which is a sustainer of a chart? Then that planet becomes more powerful and so does the Yoga.
(9) If the combination of Yogas spread out all over the chart ie. cover all the houses leaving no stones unturned, then that person has a powerful set of Yogas in his chart affecting and covering his overall life.

I can't tell if Mercury is good or bad and here's why:

Vargottama planets between Rasi and Navamsa fulfill their promise more easily. When their Dasha (or sub-periods) kicks in, it is as if that their effects can be felt immediately and strong.
When one superimposes the planet (in this case your Mercury) from Navamsa onto Rasi, it also brings with it its rulership of the Navamsa houses, in this case Mercury rules 12th and 3rd in Navamsa which is ALSO a malefic - although this factor is less strong (ie. rulership of houses in divisional chrts) unless there happens to be another planet in Navamsa in Mercury's sign.
Thus whether you are looking from the Rasi or Navamsa point of view (Navamsa being the second important chart after Rasi), Mercury is still a malefic where rulership of houses are considered. Also Vargottama does not help to determine a planet's beneficience or maleficience althogh we can say to a certain extent the planet is strong, so it would not be led astray - ie. fulfills its objectives in a proper manner.
Let's look at other factors to determine your Mercury's beneficience besides the above two factors.
In your Rasi Mercury is with Mars and Sun - both natural malefics and in the case of Mars, my opinion is that it is even not equivalent to a proper standing of a trinal lord (Mars rules 1st and 8th and the Moolatrikona sign is on the 8th). Thus Mercury is again malefic from this angle. Saturn also casts a 75% aspect on Mercury - another malefic.
In Navamsa, Jupiter and Rahu casts full aspects on your Mercury. So there is one benefic and one malefic casting the aspects. (Aspects in divisional charts are again not as strong as in Rasi).
Regarding aspects, whether Rasi or Navamsa, it is usually stronger if it is supported by the planet being aspected (in your case Mercury) being placed at the same time in the sign of the aspecting planet. So in your case Mercury being in Virgo, aspects have less effect. It is like Mercury holding onto its own in its own house. Thus the aspects (benefics or malefics) do not change the picture very much of the maleficity of your Mercury.
But the one minor consolation is that Mercury is aspected by Jupiter in your Navamsa and a 75% aspect in your Rasi. In a chart when the Moon or Mercury is not aspected by Jupiter, it makes te person think along the tangent or he tends to rationalise without any wisdom in his judgment. It is not true in your case.

Actually Vargottama is like a planet placed in its own sign. So the planet sets its own agenda.
In your case Mercury is in its sign rulerhip and is Vargottama making it doubly strong in settng its own agenda.
Now if this happens in Dusthana ie. a ruler of Dusthana placed in a Dusthana like if every condition is the same but you Mercury is placed in Gemini 8th house instead, there is a turnaround of events and you stand to gain.
If your Mercury in 11th had been in mutual reception with a planet in the 8th house then the 11th house would have been thoroughly spoilt (just like mixing the liquid blue dye with liquid red dye in a basin of clear water and the resultant is a mixture of magenta).
Your case is somewhere in between. Mercury though ruling the 8th is placed in 11th. But Mercury is ruling the 11th. So the effects of 11th would be stronger than the effects of the 8th - a Dusthna. So it is not that bad. The peculiar characteristic of the 11th is that planets placed in it is good, but the ruler is not so good.
But of course you must take into account that Sun and Mars are placed there with Mercury. Mars is still a trinal lord (but a watered down one) and Sun rules the 10th house of work and ambition. But all three are natural malefics (Mercury by association) and Mars and Sun each rule an Uppachaya house.
I would say that the 11th house in your case has a lot of unfulfilled aspirations and hope and that would spur you on. Saturn casting a 75% aspect on it would lay down more obstacles and Jupiter casting a trine would give you some saving grace. Mercury and Mars being enemies cause you at times to lose your sense of perspective but Sun and Mars being friends helps in your planning and execution of activities that you want to undertake. But Mercury has the final say in its own sign so you must put a tight rein on any negative thinking you may have.
The picture is not rosy but there is still some hope.

Thus for the benefit of the learners in this forum, in terms of gradation of goodness in descending order when Mercury rules the Dusthana 8th house with Gemini orverlying it, it would be as follows :
(1) Mercury in the 8th house itself in Gemini
(2) Mercury in the 11th houses itself in Virgo - your configuration (***)
(3) Mercury in a non-Dusthana house not in its own sign (but it still ruling the 8th with Gemini overlying it)
(4) Mercury in a non-Dusthana house exchanging houses with the 8th with the dispositor of the sign which Mercury is placed in being placed in the 8th house in Gemini.
