Dear Saindhavi

Please help me with my daughter also! She is second year in college and keeps changing her mind for her education majors and future profession. Also since childhood I have kept a strict watch on her, so now she disobeys me alot and argues too much! Occasionally she does complain of stomach pain and acidity. Please suggest something for her education and anything for her birth chart overall!

I have jupiter in pieces in 7th house along with rahu..though they are seperated by more than 20 degrees..
My Jupiter MD started in 2009 and things have been normal..not too many ups or down..nothing special.

Your father's Lagna is debilitated by Sun and Lagna Lord Venus is debilitated in 12th.

In Gochar (transit) he has been running 12th Saturn, who is crossing over his natal Saturn in his Lagna Chart.

Gochar will become good from October beginning, but remedies have to be done for the debilitation of Lagna and Lagna Lord -

1 - Recite Gayatri Mantra 108 times daily and offer water to rising Sun.

2 - Recite Lakshmi Nrisimha Karavalambam daily, followed by Lakshmi Gayatri 108 times.

Finally today, at about 8.11am in my sofwtare, Jupiter became direct in Aries.

Those who are running Jupiter Mahadasha, Jupiter's Antardasha or Pratyantar, those who have a powerful Jupiter in Kendra or trikon houses, or have an exalted Jupiter, those who have a debilitated or afflicted Jupiter, those who have a combust Jupiter, those whose Lagna or Rashi Lord is Jupiter - please watch and come back to tell us if you see any difference in your life from today onwards, as compared to the happenings in last few months.

Several members running Jupiter Mahadasha came and wrote in last few months that despite Jupiter Mahadasha they were not getting benefic results - there was many a slip between the cup and the lip. Apart from other reasons, retrograde Jupiter may have been a reason for this. If so, does Jupiter Mahadasha/Antardasha/Pratayntar give a better result for them?

Well, I am running Jupiter Mahadasha and there have been many a slip between the cup and the lip for me. Many gainful possibilities looked as if they were going to materialise, but either didn't materialise or results are still awaited. I happen to have a strong, unafflicted Jupiter as I have written earlier. Setting at topocentric in J-Hora you get some difference in Mahadasha dates.

Th above dates are with topocentric setting.

Th other tradition is to use geocentric setting, which may give the Mahadasha dates cited by you.

Jupiter-Venus-Sun should no be good as it makes 8th house strong. It may cause health problems, financial problems, problems in career growth etc.

You can observe and come back to report how this period goes, so that we may know more about it, since this is an unexplored area.

i had many breaks in studies becoz of it i finally left the college...it all started since the begining of mercury mahadasa, and the problem is stil on...but, one interestin point to note is that my jupiter antardas during saturn mahadasa was my best even though it is debilatd...rest of saturn mahadasa was hmm.. I 'd say mixed as i can't much recall about my childhood...during my school days it was not good...presently hopin to get a job..but does'nt seem anything in my favour...so, is it possible for me to get a job within a month or next? as i m in need of one... Please, advice...

From October onwards, job prospects will emerge and from January 27th, job prospects will bcome better.

In Lagna Mahadasha system, you are running Rahu Mahadasha since 24th June 2003 and Rahu-Mercury-Rahu from 9th Nov 2012 to 25th March 2013. Your time should be good after this.

Come back in April 2013 and report whether these dates match with your job situation.

Rahu-Ketu are malefic in 1-7 axis.

Remedies -

Wear white sandalwood necklace and tie Anantmool roots in a thin red cloth around upper arm. Find online addresses of shops selling these Ayurvedic herbs.

Wear yellow sapphire 4.5 carats set in gold.

Recite daily - any hymn for Ganesha and Saraswati, Hanuman Chalisa, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times, Durga Suktam, Kunjika Stotram and Devi Suktam from Rig Veda.

If your Sanskrit is not good, you can recite any prayer for Shiva and Durga that you like.

Offer milk to Shiva on Mondays and every 2 Navaratris i.e., before Rama Navami and during Durga Puja, call a priest to do Chandi Havan with Durga Saptashati.

If you can't afford a priest, fast on all 9 days of Navaratris and visit a Durga temple on Ashtami of Navaratri and once every month on Shukla Paksha Ashtami.

I understood why u mentioned rahu mahadasa intead of mercury mahadasa...it does makes sence as my trouble started since 2003 nd not 2004...nd i do pocess positive traits relatd to the significance of mercury...in one look in my chart nothin seems good...according to moon nakshatra system my jupiter antardasa was my best period,but can't mention what dasa i ws in accordin to lagna dasa system...so, jus wan't to kno which wil be my benfic nd malefic planets along with its strength?

However, your Saturn is exalted in 8th and hence, very malefic. It is root of all your problems. Current Saturn transit in Libra may not be good for you. you can get married after 8th Feb 2013 or after 25th Aug 2015.
