Please provide me with some auspicious dates to enter a newly constructed house this july or august 2012. I hope it does not need my birth details but if needed please let me know..
I would be greatful for quick answers so that I can prepare.

1.Aug 11: 13:20 to 15:25
2.Aug 16: 08:45 to 10:12 [avoid inviting long distance relatives on this one]

It is not about pitru paksha at all. But the very thithis on the chosen dates are inauspicious for graha pravesh.

Dear Ramanan,
I am told that if there is no paksha bala, you have to look at Graha Bala-through a system called Ashtaka Varga. There are people who have had surgeries in Atiganda Yoga and Chathurdasi, the reason they survive is because of Graha Bala- but when there is no Nakshatra Bala and Graha Bala then the day is going to be completely inauspicious. For griha pravesh- provided the nakshatra is auspicious, you have to check the strength of Sun, Moon and Mars and they should be compatible with the birth chart-these are obviously fast moving planets and therefore has a significant impact on each nakshatra. Now Chathurdasi may look like a bad day for griha pravesh but on closer inspection you will find that that the graha bala beats the thithi bala. I have a program that does calculate Chesta Bala and Ashtaka Varga, PM if you want the link.

We may not have the GO from inspection officers by these dates something in august would be more feasible.

Somebody told me that we may not need to do the greh pravesh because we bought the house, demolished the upper floors and not the basement where parking & a small apartment is. And reconstructed the upper part. We are staying in the basement apartment as of today. Do you agree with this opinion?

Dear sir,
is there any suitable date in Feb-march-2013 for griha pravesh. My dob is 18-01-1979 and my wife DOB is 16-07-1983.some one told me that there is fear of fire when griha pravesh is done in maagh month.
Please throw some light.and if there is any way to remove that fear?
